Third Silver Bullet Silver Shield medallion

Could not agree more. Absolutely f*ck ugly coin, and find the idea repulsive. It's not the defiled image of Big Liz, its more the counter-culture OMFG1 appeal of the imagery. I actually liked the other 2 in the series, however this one I find to be a step too far. A perfect example of how...

    HAPPY NEW YEARS STACKERS!!!

Was going to say, where've you been fella? Not seen you for quite a while, was going to put the feelers out! Yesterday, the last day of 2012 was rather important to me. In short, I had to go to immigration and put in a new visa application - if I didn't do it yesterday, I'd be on a plane home...

What is the better/best form ( shape) to purchase?

Bizarre fact of the day - all the while I've been shopping around of late - I've found PM Certicarded 1oz bars to be CHEAPER than cast, in a lot of places I've been looking. I thought this made NO logical sense whatsoever! I'd recommend 1oz bars, and 1/2oz if you don't mind the premium. It...

WHY WHY WHY are clasps so expensive?

Precisely, there's something of a class distinction between pawnbrokers and bullion dealers... never a more obvious example! :D

WHY WHY WHY are clasps so expensive?

I'd also recommend a pawnbroker based here in Brisbane - they're very good to do business with face to face. Try CitiGold - http://www.citigoldaustralia.com.au Note that these guys are in no way related to Site Sponsor City Gold Bullion - its a completely unrelated business!

    Esuper Turnaround Timeframe - Help?

Well, after a few 'hassling' calls this morning - both rollover's from Sun and Spectrum super are now processing - should have them within 10 days. Hoping for a fairly quick resolution, all things being equal. :D Registering my accounts with a few local and interstate dealers... granted...

Sending SMSF gold overseas for safe keeping in case SHTF

Very interesting question - offshore storage of SMSF assets was discussed at last weeks Brisbane meet. We couldn't state for sure where you'd legally stand with such an action - definitely something to consider though.,,,

    Interesting

Please tell me Ainslie aren't ripping you off. Even as a Brisbanite - Ainslie have done plenty to push away their stalwart customers of late - with new competition here locally in the form of City Gold Bullion who are engaging with the stackers' network, and a large variety of better deals out...

Toyota phasing out Landcruiser 70 Series

Onya reno - I used to use mine to pull a trailer when landscaping/tree-felling. Worked a treat - never got it bogged once. It was replacement for a Vauxhall/Holden/Opel Frontera - bogged ever single time I took it on to my field to dump. Ridiculous! :D

Toyota phasing out Landcruiser 70 Series

What about the Mitsi L200 - it's been the workhorse of UK tradies for years? Could be a lot worse, you could own a Land Rover Discovery, or god forbid... a Freelander... :o Worst cars going, back home we used to laugh at people who turned up to the shoot to go 'off roading' in either of them...

Useful Silver Tools, Do you know how to use them?

Absolutely. I've taken a few hours out of my life to encourage and support this person, who apparently doesn't wish to change anything. Not only is that frustrating for members' who see pages of inane posting, but its doubly so for myself and a number of the other posters who have attempted to...
