    yeah slipage, that's the same version I used. power usage for the one card dropped 70w that is insane! I don't know what they did with that new bios version but it was very silly by the look of it. still running fine at 1ghz... just using less power now.

    Ah i've been having the same problems with 7870's (MSI) i spent a good 3 hours playing around with settings but couldn't get them to provide any decent number of hashes for scrypt mining. What I did manage to do is tune them so they were producing hardly any heat... not ideal but at least that...

    you don't need to set shaders if you are using thread concurrency. also I'm getting about ~600 on stock 1ghz clock so at 1200 that is probably right

    You shouldn't bother with shaders if you are using thread-concurrency. Also based on my previously experiments you should try setting the thread concurrency to 64 * bus bandwidth (384) just try and even 24000 and see how it goes, (then try increasing the intensity until you get errors) also...

    You;ll have to start getting creative with your cooling when you start putting more cards in, also you should be aiming to run your PSU at 70-80% as that is where it is most efficient.

    that gets me 605 kh/s There are 2 7950's though, I've got the gv-r795wf3-3gd revision 2 model I also updated the firmware (which you shouldn't need to do)
