Keep reproducing folks, because you can never have too many people

Its a shame that as intelligent, evolved human beings we probably will not be better to avoid this inevitable 'natural' adjustment (billions of people dying). Unfortunately adhering to religious and cultural dogma is the number 1 priority. Oh and corporate greed too.

Joe Sixpack is still asleep at the wheel...

Its hard seeing such ignorant, demonizing people post their comments on news articles ( like this one http://www.marketwatch.com/story/silver-how-low-can-we-go-2012-08-02 see AmericanPatriot), but it does sometimes make me question...what if they are right... what if silver and gold collapse...

Keep reproducing folks, because you can never have too many people

By naturally, do you mean man made legislation that, for example, China has implemented? We are artificially keeping people alive longer and longer, fighting 'nature', and this will continue in the future. I just don't see what you mean by 'naturally'?

Keep reproducing folks, because you can never have too many people

You can never have too many people...its only a matter of infrastructure they say! By the way, an interesting fact now that the Olympics are on: Did you know that Yao Ming is one of the only Chinese people who has special permission from the Chinese government to have 5 children?

China lashes US 'selective blindness' in sea garrison dispute

I wouldn't be surprised if China is expecting to never see that money again. China is 'investing' in US debt to prop up the USD and make their exports look cheaper to other countries around the world. A few billion $$ in sacrifice to the USA is more than accounted for in trade deals with other...

US Olympic Games winners face big tax bill on their medals

If not publicly funded, they could just offset the tax with training costs, no?

100 Oz Silver Bars why do all the experts hate them such?

I honestly hope you are both right. I'm simply putting a word of caution out there. 1kg bars may be a safer bet.

100 Oz Silver Bars why do all the experts hate them such?

If silver did go exponential to $500 due to economic collapse, who is going to be able to afford to buy a $50,000 bar of silver off you. Maybe one should invest in a hacksaw as well?

Distinguishing between what you 'think will' and 'want to' happen

It seems Asia agrees with you. From memory, a couple of recent headlines: China buys more gold in 5 months than the UK currently owns, South Korea buys 15-16 tonnes of gold in a month, Vietnam controlling gold imports and exports. Unless these headlines are a lie, do as Asia does?

Distinguishing between what you 'think will' and 'want to' happen

We all WANT our investments to increase tenfold, but those that are investing in the metals because they THINK they will increase tenfold may need a reality check. Maybe THEY are the sheep? Having said that, I think the metals are a solid long term hedge against inflation. As for property in...

Mike Maloney versus Greg Mannarino youtube clips?

Have to keep in mind that Gregory Mannarino is making money from each video he releases and every book he sells. Maybe he is being smart and he is simply profiting from telling us what we want to hear? Like he says: fear and greed.

Will silver break $30 US tonight?

I don't think it will take off until some serious money printing occurs in USA. This probably won't occur until after the election.

Cost of producing an ounce of silver

If all this talk of the silver price falling to the low 20's (and below) becomes reality, surely we will have to reach a point where it will be unsustainable for silver to be mined, prompting the silver price to increase. Does anyone know how much it costs to mine an ounce of silver so we can...
