Craig, I love the Pamp Suisse 1 ounce gold horse. I love it much better than any u.s. or foreign coin. The Pamp Suisse to me, Is the most beautiful and it's .9999.. bar stamped as well as the assay card with purity and weight.

I love my 2013-w reverse proof gold buffaloes. This is the 1st reverse proof gold by the U.S. Mint and to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the buffalo nickel. The mintage is high, But, The piece speaks for itself.
To me, When you spend tons of cash on a numismatic or bullion/numismatic coin and it has/ or develops ANY SPOTS WHAT-SO-EVER, It's not worth a penny. You can keep them.
I wouldn't even pay a penny for the gold or silver melt in them.
If the coin/coins are 100% junk bullion only, Who cares.
I store all my collectable coins in acid free lint free boxes that i buy from archival companies. The boxes run any where's from $12 to $18 a box depending on size. I think these boxes help a bit. do not store your coins in basements or attics.. Good luck.
