Weight of ASE in mint capsule

Interesting. This would be PM forum #3 that you're having a rough time on. I'm beginning to wonder if it'll ever dawn on you that it's not always the other posters.

The New 1/2 oz Croc is a Boat?

Thank you. (I think?) Another great company that makes you sign up before they'll tell you what it costs. That's almost as cool as the New York Mint and some of the other clowns that Perth Mint has paired up with. I'm going to take a pass at this point.

2014 Tokelau Yellowfin Tuna Now with Matte Finish

If they are transitioning to a different finish, you just might have the variety that tilts the scales of increased premium in your favor. You're too late if you sent them back...sorry

Silver Strikes (Las Vegas Casino Chips)

I was in Vegas in Aug 2013 and found a silver strike machine on Fremont St. They had actual silver tokens in the machine, about 1 out of 20 and the rest were clad. I ran about $200 thru the machine and got all $200 back plus 2 of the .999 strikes. The good news is the casino paid $10 in...

Stacking 5 ounce America the beautiful coins

I have at least 1 each of the bullion versions, had 2 of each, but moved some of them as they either took a big rise in premium and I sold them to lower my cost of what I kept or in the case of the 2011's, just didn't see any point in holding them. I also have several of the P version, and...

2014 Perth Mint Crocs are blemished??

I got my order from Provident today. The relief is low, the tube fit is really bad and the seal popped off in the box. The good news is the ends were propped up by the packing paper, so they didn't suffer too much damage. It's a bullion coin, so I'll put 2 extra in each tube I have and move...

2014 Perth Mint Crocs are blemished??

Were you complaining about the dealer's profits on these coins? My point was directed at somebody else directly on here, and a few others that chimed in... I understand being disappointed in the quality, did you ask the dealer you bought it from to rectify the situation? I'd start there as...

2014 Perth Mint Crocs are blemished??

While I do agree that they should be mint fresh and without major blemishes, as shown in the pic a page or so ago. With that stated, there have been a few times that I purchased tube silver and they did show contact marks and other blemishes. In that sense, if you buy govt silver that is sold...

2014 Perth Mint Crocs are blemished??

You know what's truly amazing, I don't recall anybody being forced to buy the crocs and live with the poor quality. Unless the business practices of Aussie bullion dealers are to hold a gun to the customers head and give them a buy item X at Y price, I just don't get it. Last I checked, profit...

2014 Perth Mint Crocs are blemished??

I will agree with you that Provident is covering their butts on this one. It wasn't too long ago that they were not going to sell individual ATBs, as they stated they got too many returns due to the quality of the product. It's pretty simple to me. People buy from them for the prices they...

    Propaganda?

Is it ethical to post pictures that are clearly owned by others? Did these buyers actually believe that DDE actually signed those slabs? Did the history teacher happen to be your teacher?

    Propaganda?

Let me get this straight, because you perceive these labels and designations as gimmicks that makes them deceptive? Did I get that right? Since you see them that way, they are exactly that to you, they are not that to the collector of those items, and many collect them as shown by the volume...
