I just checked my order history on the perth mint website. It says the amount of my order is over 3 million dollars!!! :O I only ordered two different silver proof coins but submitted my order again and again due to their server errors. I'll probably get a call from Amex soon... Anyone wants...

When I extrapolate this 34 year silver price graph: http://silverprice.org/charts/history/silver_all_data_o_usd.png then my best guess would be that silver is $50 sometime around 2040 and about $5 for most of the time between now and 2040... :)

Ok. Relax everyone. The order confirmation problem means that you have reached your limit of either 20 1oz silver or 5 1oz gold coins. That is, your previous online order went through, you just didn't get a confirmation. :)

The website is running quite smoothly, so the problem is not the load. Maybe the bottleneck is their credit card processing, because for every order they do a credit card authorization. Switching it off might solve the problem. If someone doesn't pay, I'm sure they will have lots of takers for...

Aren't the offering many different colours, like black, blue, red, etc? Are they each limited to 10000 coins per colour?

I'm curious what the packaging will look like. The previous issues all had a real photograph, I wonder where they got the dragon photo from :)

The ones I have/had are all perfect. Maybe someone sprayed them with gold colour? Gilded coins currently sell for much more than normal bullion, so that sounds like it might be worth someones effort. CoA is probably even easier to fake than spraying the coins.

Well, there are probably also 2000x more people who would buy a 2oz dragon than a 10kg dragon, so I guess that evens it out... :)
