    White/Copper Spots Experiment

It could if done aggressively and with pressure. But I emphasize the very light, and bare finger again. Clean, wet skin isn't something I would consider abrasive. To each his own. I sent the coin off to NGC the other day as I was happy with the result. NGC graders handle your coins barehanded as...

    White/Copper Spots Experiment

Just tried this stuff on a gold coin that had some mild pvc residue. It did remove it after two cycles through the solution, rinse, and with some very light rubbing with my bare finger under water.

Wow, you really are the optimistic one! We make a good team at least. This will be fun.

    1/2oz silver Pandas

I think Badon, Tamo and many others on CCF have been bullish on the 1/2 for a while now. The set has been viewed as undervalued, and prices are creeping up. I think Badon and Tamo had a write-up about the 1/2 on LiveBusinessChat.com, just not sure which investment list it was included in. But...

    1/2oz silver Pandas

Prices have appreciated a lot on many of these since I made my first purchases of them earlier in the year. The 1994, 1995 and 1998 especially, from what I have seen. I'd simply buy what is available to you at the time in the condition you want at a price you're willing to pay, whether it be...

    Are graded coins worth it?

It really depends on the coin. Rare coins and coins plagued by authenticity concerns are certainly worth buying graded or having graded to a certain extent. You really need to look at the cost benefit and whether or not grading will increase or decrease the attainable value, especially on more...

    Dividend Payers

If your investment horizon is still far out, a 20% correct here and there will simply be a buying opportunity. One reason I advocate reinvesting dividends automatically is because it helps smooth out market swings. Diversify, reinvest, keep some powder dry for the big dips and stay vigilant...

Marc Faber "Buy A Machine Gun", No Really, "You're Right, Buy A Tank"

It's all speculative, but I'm just saying that that could be one of the final straws for people as someone would physically be coming to take them away from you. This election proved that half of the voting population has no clue how destructive Obama and his administration actually are. It's...

5 oz Graded Panda... has this been tampered with?

Even if they say they'll replace it, unless you're in the US or Canada, you'll end up paying more in shipping there and back than it's worth.

That's terrible to hear. Of those others you listed, I've never even considered their products, actually. Too many far better brands out there.

I live in Chicago. Canada is a possibility, although I don't know if it is a good one. I have friends with fall back plans.

I'm a Ruger owner, along with many people I know. The quality and reliability of their firearms is top-notch, especially for the price point. Customer service is also outstanding. Not sure what kind of experiences you've had.

5 oz Graded Panda... has this been tampered with?

I wouldn't say it is uncommon for the seems to be a bit rough from the molds in spots. Honestly though, there is no way one could successfully crack open one of those slabs and replace a coin without destroying the holder.

Obama, along with many of the organizations he is connected to, in addition to countless Democrats are very anti-gun. They're constantly looking for ways to tax, limit and ban our constitutional rights, and now that he is re-elected, he will be able to appoint more supreme court justices...

When is it worth to send your numismatic to get graded?

Only grade coins you know will command a high and sustainable premium if graded. Grading fees are high and can be impossible to recover on low-scoring coins and coins that are not rare.

    White/Copper Spots Experiment

It helps against environmental effects to use an air tight holder of some sort (many brands out there), but if there are chemical residues in the metal from the minting process, nothing can be done to prevent or remove those.

    White/Copper Spots Experiment

It worked nicely on the gold panda I tried it on. Removed some minor copper spots without any rubbing or long exposure to the solution. Depending on the toning you're seeing, and the coin, you may not want to remove it. Toning on old US gold coins is desirable by many collectors, for example...

    Dividend Payers

Another thing to remember, if you plan on holding your dividend payers for a while, have the dividends automatically reinvested. Compounding dividends can certainly add up fast, and they help you dollar cost average your position.
