Only send the coins worth grading. Any with nicks or rubs or spots of any kind I would skip. Sending in a sheet gives them more coins to compare so only send the best. If you have other graded coins compare the quality of the omp to those.

There are 3 varieties. Large Twig Large Date Short Twig Small Date Short Twig Micro Date That coin is a Short Twig Small Date. The micro date has a smaller date stamp. The Short Twig Small Date is similar in size to the Large Date but the font is slightly different.

$117 is pretty standard price. New issues generally get released around $120 USD. But Thor is right, you can find already graded ones for between $125-140. About $170 if you want MS70. Where you start is up to you.

I concur. This stuff works really well on surface contamination, including PVC. If done carefully and thoroughly, you can get great results and avoid damage to the coin. White spots and copper spots that are from substances in the metal itself cannot be removed with this stuff, but that...

Yep, I sold multiple S1 sets with the original red presentation box between $1,200 - $1,250 USD. Most loose coins were going for $85+ with dragon, snake, horse and ox all pushing $100 or above.

You really have to know what is causing the spotting, meaning is it something on the surface/environmental, or is it actually in the metal. The explanation of the white spots/stains from chemical contamination during the minting process is what myself and many others who have contacted NGC/NCS...
