New Canadian Bison coin is $70.00 + premium over spot!

If Canada is anything like Australia then a $100 legal tender coin would have to be honoured for $100 at any bank. Therefore, the RCM couldn't issue such a coin any cheaper than $100, otherwise people are just going to buy it for less then cash it in for $100 at the bank. It has nothing to do...

2013 Fiji 10$ Predatory Mammals Lutra- Antique Finish+Swarovski cryst

Personally, I buy some of these coins because I like the design. I don't think I've ever bought a coin "because" it has crystals, but some of the coins I buy do have these crystals or other enhancements. I have no intention of selling them and I keep them in capsules so, should the glue fail and...

That's on the seller side, though. They don't charge the buyer anything.

FRILLED NECK LIZARD Remarkable Reptile Silver Proof Coin Tuvalu 2013

It says the price includes a tax of $0.00, which is false PayPal don't charge 3%...dunno if BB does but if so that's also dodgy

FRILLED NECK LIZARD Remarkable Reptile Silver Proof Coin Tuvalu 2013

Actually, I'm not "trippen"... :P If I was to try and purchase this coin I am taken through an account creation process and it's only once I'm at PayPal that the GST is added. After I've created the account the GST is always visible, as long as I'm in my account or don't clear cookies from my...

FRILLED NECK LIZARD Remarkable Reptile Silver Proof Coin Tuvalu 2013

$97 is the price without GST. BB are a bit dodgy that way, adding the GST only once you have entered your details. I was under the impression they were required by law to show the GST upfront, unlike our American cousins :|

Personally, I think this is a more attractive release from Poland Mint

FRILLED NECK LIZARD Remarkable Reptile Silver Proof Coin Tuvalu 2013

My understanding is that the 107 is official issue price and I'd imagine BB wouldn't be offered any future PM struck coins if they are undercut them...maybe someone but the word on them  That being said I guess there's nothing stopping them from offering free postage and thereby still...

So can we discuss the Red backs?

That's not actually true. They, like everyone else, had no idea the coin would explode the way it did. They didn't even have limits on orders on the initial release. They did capitalise on the rising price but only by buying coins BACK from dealers, but even then they were only selling for a...

Australia's Remarkable Reptiles 2013 1oz Silver Proof Coin

Well there you have it, turns out it's a Frilled Neck Lizard, not a bad design at all IMO. Will be interesting to see how it goes, first coins in new series' always get me a little excited :D

Mint of Poland is looking for new coin line after hot Fortuna Redux

Remains to be seen if the coins themselves will look any good, these artist images don't do anything for me. Fortuna Redux was an amazing feat of modern numismatic engineering. These coins just look like another gimmicky product to me

Australia's Remarkable Reptiles 2013 1oz Silver Proof Coin

Yeah it is, and Other mints, such as? If you're talking about PobJoy, Helvetica, even CIT to a large extent, the quality produced by Downies/PM easily surpasses them. If you're talking about the Austrian Mint then you're right, but then NO ONE is up to the quality of the Austrian Mint :)

Australia's Remarkable Reptiles 2013 1oz Silver Proof Coin

Some of the coins in these series' haven't been as "strong" as others, but I'm a collector rather than a flipper and have been collecting the D&D and E&E series' from the start so I'm locked in by my obsession haha Figured if someone knew about this R&R series it would be here :)

Australia's Remarkable Reptiles 2013 1oz Silver Proof Coin

Saw this on Perth Mint website the other day Australia's Remarkable Reptiles 2013 1oz Silver Proof Coin then saw yesterday that it's being advertised as "a new silver coin series from Downies - the makers of the Deadly & Dangerous series" I'm intrigued. Could have potential :) Anyone know...
