what happens to PMs in a divorce?

I would gladly give her half but she'd have to go diving to get it after that tragic boating accident I had. I am very clumsy in a boat (out of fear because I can't swim) and I knocked my whole stack into the water. Serves me right! Not sure why I took all 6 ounces of silver and my gold dos peso...

Tech firm aiming its sights at brokers: Robinhood - free brokerage

The thing I do like about Loyal3 is that it allows you purchase fractional shares (again why I feel like it more of a DRP platform service vs a brokerage). It allows the investor to dollar cost average and opens up doors for smaller players to get in the game. It allows a small guy to create a...

Tech firm aiming its sights at brokers: Robinhood - free brokerage

I just opened an account with Robinhood but have yet to make any trades. I've been using Loyal3 for a few months but it has a very limited selection of stocks. It is more like a DRP platform than discount brokerage. Loyal3 has several stocks that I was interested in buying anyway though so it...

    Small time stacker lost direction?

I have a bit of OCD but also impulse control when buying so it is a constant battle. This is how I deal with it... I focus my silver stack around 5 different coins; ASE, maples, Libertads, Philharmonics and Britannias. I focus on groups of 5 at a time. I'll either order five in an order or if I...

    Book recommendations?

So I'll preface my post with this; I think most self help books are total BS. I consider myself a pretty strong willed and mindful individual with a good dose of common sense in most situations. The one area I've always been weak in is money. I am an only child and my parents would have been...

How much silver is a reasonable goal before I move on to Gold

I like to have about 1 oz of gold for every 50 oz of silver. This isn't based on any magic number but it is nice and round. I was buying a 1/10th oz gold coin for every five 1 oz silver coins because it just felt right. I don't have much gold... or much silver lol.

    Not Impressed with Lunar Skulls

I'm glad I didn't take a punt. Not a fan of this one. The design doesn't feel balanced to me. Maybe too much negative/blank space? I dunno? Something feels a little off and I can't put my finger on it. I hope everyone who ordered one is happy though.

New Irish Shamrock from Dublin Assay Office

That is a nice looking round and I might pick a few up for the heck of it. I took a look at the official website and they make some nice looking bars.

    Is my portfolio too conservative?

Hello all, So I figured I'd get some opinions here about my portfolio. Last night I started looking at my portfolio in terms of percentage. I am only looking at investment assets, not including my house, collectables, etc. I think my portfolio is maybe a little too conservative for larger...

    gold coins advice for starters

I like Latin Money Union gold and gold Mexican Pesos because they tend to have low premiums and people know what they are. They also come in various sizes so anyone can find something in their price range. I don't currently own any but I like sovereigns, too. I like my gold fractional.

    Napoleons

In the past few months I've bought a few 10 francs (all Nap. III). The most I paid for one was $120 and the best price I got was $105. Most were right around $115. Spot right now is $115 for one of these coins so I feel like I'm doing good. These aren't in high grade numi condition but gold at...

    Napoleons

I am partial to the 10 francs. Like the gold pesos from Mexico, I find them around spot most of the time. I think they are a good choice for gold if they are priced right.

Does anyone ever get tempted to gamble or play the lottery?

I don't think they are talking about putting 20% in a savings account but more likely investments such as mutual funds, retirement plans, pensions, bonds, stocks, silver, gold, etc. I'm not at 20% yet but I am around 17% this year (although about 6% of that was PMs which is 4% more than I had...

    Loyal3, anyone use it?

Hello all, I guess this is directed to the American members because I believe the service is only in the States at the moment. Has anyone tried the online discount brokerage Loyal3? It is completely commission free to make trades. There are a few catches; they do batch trades so you don't get...

    Book safe??

Instead of worrying where to hide your stack in your house I think your better and safer bet is to make your house less of a target. Keep bushes trimmed, get an alarm system and display the signs that you have the service, have motion activated flood lights outside, get a dog, keep your doors...
