High Relief designs are here to stay!

among all American coins, the 2009 UHR Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle stoods out the most. Other normal High Relief coins just pales in comparison.

New 2014 Proof Britannia is an absolute beauty

Same thing happened to me. Both 2013 and 2014 5oz proof Brit has milk spots straight out from the mint packaging. 3 returns for 2013, 1 return for 2014. Surprisingly zero spots for 2015! And from the finishing looks like it is from the initial production run (nice and sharp edges). My 2014...

New 2014 Proof Britannia is an absolute beauty

Just filling the gaps for a running series, 1oz and 5oz proof Brit. 2013 was ugly enough, 2015 is a close second.

New 2014 Proof Britannia is an absolute beauty

Compare 2015 against 2014... 2015 looks terrible. I just got both my 1oz and 5oz 2015 proof Brits, didn't bother to take any decent photos or unboxing. They go straight into my safe.

Britannia Proof coins 2015 should be issued in July!

Royal Mint updated their proof Brits max mintage. 2015 Proof Britannia 1oz silver: 3,000 in limited presentation, total mintage 6,550 2015 Proof Britannia 5oz silver: 650 in limited presentation, total mintage 1,150 For her trident... actually they look small in all Britannia coins.

Britannia Proof coins 2015 should be issued in July!

This year's proof Brit is just a disappointment... No high relief, no fantastic design. I doubt it will sell out, probably it will end up like the 2013 5oz... It was on sale for like close to 10 months.

Britannia Proof coins 2015 should be issued in July!

Ordered one each for silver proof 1oz and 5oz, not because I like them but as a continuation for my proof Brit collection...

Britannia Proof coins 2015 should be issued in July!

Royal Mint never learns... Both 1oz and 5oz proof silver Brits only state mintage for "limited presentation"

We've done a profile of the Golden Enigma coins as they seem popular

Thing is, anyone and everyone can buy bullion coins and paint them, stick a crystal on them, do a laser cutout etc... but this is more of personal interest and not an official release from the Mint. I just find it odd (and disappointed) to see AgAuNews showcasing and featuring these aftermarket...

We've done a profile of the Golden Enigma coins as they seem popular

I have been a follower on AgAuNews facebook page, it is always nice to have a reliable source for new coin releases. To be honest, covering 3rd party modifications is not something I expect from a reputable website. Coins are a form of money, money is approved by the country's monetary...

Britannia Proof coins 2015 should be issued in July!

was budgeting to get a couple of 5-ouncers this year, guess I'll just stick with the usual 1oz and 5oz, 1 piece each.

Britannia Proof coins 2015 should be issued in July!

:( :( :( this looks very similar to Royal Mint's lunar series. Did they just pull the Lunar designer in and get her to design 2015's proof Brits? We want Jody Clark back!
