While the POS falls, junk silver prices surge in the US

That’s it. Gainesville has the ASE monster box at 8865 vs APMEX at 9415, a difference of 550 USD. No brainer. Also seems to have a lot of boxes. (Vs APMEX with 74x year2020). Their 90% is in order of 1/3 cheaper. I expect you’ll mostly get dimes, maybe Kennedy halves. Peace dollars not to...

Expecting silver to drop to at least $22 AUD

Silver at 15 AUD again implies a strong AUD - I don’t see it....unless we are saying there will be extreme liquidation from ASX equities and everyone with superannuation going “stopover” into cash only.

Expecting silver to drop to at least $22 AUD

Yup. The quarantine is the main prevention and treatment at the moment. Expect to see some crazy euphoric rallies with effective treatments, should they come. Possibly vaccines too, but mutation or “antigenic drift” may mean the hope is short lived.

WTB American Silver Eagle & Kangaroos

You won’t find cheaper than APMEX if you want bulk. There are 74 monster boxes left and that will go quickly in the next leg down I think - around 13 USD. Below that I think silver should be on back order if there’s any for sale close to the POS

    Case for silver currency

This idea that viruses can’t replicate on silver bullion needs to be properly tested. Easy enough. IRL example - say someone wiped a gorby on a round and then sold it half an hour later. That’s more meaningful than plates in a lab

    2020 Collapse

I had a look at the map of Gunnison - the airport is right next to the town. Rapid spread of this virus depends on people being in confined spaces for a period. Airports and aircraft fit that bill. This is how I suspect Tom Hanks got it and various politicians and their wives. Gunnison looks...

While the POS falls, junk silver prices surge in the US

Just had a look at APMEX - it’s not just TP and SPAM people are hoarding It looks like physical silver coins are on the list APMEX also has a banner saying “due to extreme order volume shipping will take three days Now with a POS of 14USD, the prices have interestingly increased rather than...

    2020 Collapse

I don’t remember any public health issue in 2009 (I should qualify this - it wasn’t an issue in Australia - I know it was a major issue elsewhere) When we talk about the flu and the vaccine, remember the vaccine only covers 30-50% and even then it is best applied when the outbreak happens for...

    2020 Collapse

It isn’t even really that yet There are some human suppositions. It comes down to viral mutation, antigenic drift/shift.

    2020 Collapse

We’ll feel it here soon enough. I think it will be about the same for Singapore and Malaysia as for the major Australian cities, with a few variations. Just make sure you have the things you need for your sickness or helping your relative or friend (and nobody coughs on you!)

    Platinum vs Palladium.

Your koala is lonesome It is hard to see this now, however the reality is this is actually a good time to make money, because the herd will act and you need to know when the herd acts especially when it strongly runs away from sense

    Why Do You Buy Silver?

Truth there, gold has been nice. Nobody here should falsely influence in terms of silver as an investment. It has done well when fiat was injected into the USD, being the surrogate for a metal at various stages in the 20th century.

    Platinum vs Palladium.

One question for platinum is the percentage loss and gain in a metal which is relatively scarce compared to silver It is one to watch and given the situation at hand it may go lower, notwithstanding ”fiat bazookas” In the longer run, it is rare, as long as you are alive long enough.

    Why Do You Buy Silver?

I don’t think it was about that Looking at the poster’s other entries it was more about money to the exclusion of much else, with a flicker of intellectual interest, but an expectation that we would lay it out like a fancy dinner, gratis. Look at “Tennessee”’s other posts Doesn’t sound like a...
