    Often on standard products, online dealers have the same premium on a product for a long time, so you can deduce the spot price at the time of your purchase by subtracting the current premium from the total price you paid.

    Wrap in bubble wrap / newspaper then place in one or two of those disposal plastic take away lunch containers, (can easily buy or maybe ask nicely for an unused one from you fav lunch place) sticky tape it closed then add more padding/newspaper outside container as required.
