    IT BEGINS !!

Having followed the Ripple/XRP saga for 5 or more years the only surprises to me are why did Ripple bother with XRP (they have a good product that didn't need XRP) and why Ripple was allowed to get as far as it did (rhetorical q. I know the answer is in public servant lawyers kept on been...

    Donation coin

Seen any of these in the wild? I've seen lots of 2020 shinys but never a Donation dollar. From what I can count, the 2016 Changeover is lowest mintage 560,000 and 2020 Qantas is second lowest ~750,000. 2020 MOR might be very low as well.

    Gumtree Scam 1oz gold coin.Beware

I've never had a problem with eBay. I'm very careful that descriptions are clear, photos are clear, always use Paypal (except if its a known dealer with ABN) and seller must have a 100% feeback history including selling gold. Ask questions before buying to test the integrity of the seller. If...

    IT BEGINS !!

For the next 6 -12 months ETH is facing headwinds from being the host of so many unregistered securities. I'm sure ETHUSD rises in the longt errm but ETHBTC might keep losing ground. It was obviously a security and the SEC have a very easy case against a Californian company. It's stone cold...

    QV v KG sovereigns

To be honest I mostly ignore tales, WW, BP and so on and look only at date, mint and grade. There's already enough things making certain coins rare now. No need to introduce more variations and rarity. Would start to look silly if PCGS/NGC said such and such AU50 sovereign is top of pop.

RAM coins listed as best of the year

I agree with their choices except Bounty. 2019 was very boring year for Australian coins.

Platinum price decline: to invest now or not?

Interesting but why not continue smuggling with Pd? Not unknown for old UK and continental gold to be actually Pt

Platinum price decline: to invest now or not?

More on technicals. High probability of asymmetic returns. Very thin market to squeeze and hype. Easier even than silver. On fundamentals, Pt as catalyst in exhaust or fuel cells has cheaper alternatives like iron. Demand from gold counterfeiters.

Platinum price decline: to invest now or not?

I'm not bearish plat, I'm not selling, but won't buy until it breaks its 9 years down trend. Close but not quite. Potential though is great. Very easy market to squeeze and at the moment only one single lonely youtube channel is hyping it

    RIP $38.00 silver thread.

Not actually cheap, but Perth Mint's eBay store keeps undercutting dealers. Plus 5% vouchers were working a few weeks ago and $10 and $30 off vouchers are working today. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/254747234225 Says roos in caps too.

    RIP $38.00 silver thread.

Unless a huge amount of money was just pulled from circulation, data on the FRED site makes no sense in terms of M1 and M2.

    QV v KG sovereigns

Market is starting to price varieties at lower grades . The ever so larger of the young heads (1871-1887) and larger of the Jubilee are few dollars more. AFAIK these have never been well documented with in McDonalds or Renniks about which mintmarks go with which shields/st geoge, go with which...

WTB/ WTT gold BU 2017 PM Swan

I picked up a 2017 at the start of the year (makes a beautiful pair with 2020) (2018, 2019 were quite forgetable). There were a few about at bullion premium but all were in the States.

    IT BEGINS !!

Whatever I read was on bloomberg. The general theme is companies/funds seeking investor/regulatory approval to buy up to $500m bitcoin. $500m seems the magic number probably set by microstrategy. It does actually make sense for companies with huge treasuries to have their CFO put some in crypto...

    Golden Highs 2020

Noticed that Byron is attracting more Melbourians than Sydneysiders. Odd cause I'm sure property there is out of reach for most Melbournians. Back on topic, what's the story with people in forums here trying to flog 2020 coins at higher than dealers. Also noticing that $200 coins are being...

DHL Express will happily ship coins. The other DHL probably won't. They are experts in losing shit.

    IT BEGINS !!

Something about Guggenheim fund selling gold and putting a 400K target on bitcoin. I haven't been paying attention. I've been around long enough to be desensitised to crypto price movements.

    Let's talk AUD!

Not while USD is falling wouldn't surprise me if iron ore revenue is increasing then coal revenue from China actually increases.
