Thanks, although I am not counting on it They did put me on a waiting list, but I guess that list must be pretty long
I sent eurocollections an email yesterday(before any of you guys had posted about charge backs and stuff). I wanted to thank them and ask them about the weird glitch after the initial sold out message. Here's my message and their response that i just received. I can't help but wonder if accidentally guilt tripped them in to approving my order, lol. It wasn't intentional :-/ my message: First, I want to say thank you on behalf of myself and several other very happy customers. Your decision to relist the hedgehogs for such a low price has earned several new customers. That said, several of us on a forum are holding our breath on an issue. When you guys relisted the 2012 mongolian hedgehog monday night, they sold out pretty quickly (shopping cart button replaced by sold out message). However, there was a period of time like two hours later when the item description said that the item was sold out, but the shopping cart was active again. Was this an error, or will those people's orders be filled? Thanks again. Due to you relisting the hedgehog at $185 usd and my being able to purchase one before they sold out, you have earned a spot on my favorites bar. Their response: Thank you for your enquiry and kind very kind feedback as we greatly appreciate it! When the Hedgehogs were relisted there was only 10 available for sale, unfortunately due to a website glitch it had allowed a number of customers make purchases when the coin had already sold out, subsequently there have been quite a few who have missed out (possibly for the 2nd time). Those who are affected will be contacted very soon. I can confirm that your order has been processed in our system and will probably be sent out next week. Again we thank you for your positive feedback. Have a great evening.
Don't count yourself out yet. THe US mint was notorious for doing this. THey may actually still do it. THey would charge the account to see if you had money in there then cancel the charge, only to charge again when the coin was sent. It used to mess up my bank account big time so I started to use a credit card when dealing with them. It may be the same thing. Here's to hoping!
We must wish good luck to all who got it at US$185. For those did not get it (including myself), do not disappointed and try your luck again. If Eurocollections really deliver their promise, we at least know there is another dealer who willing to give up some profit for the sake of their customers. Cheers !!!!
Wow! Here's hoping. I only realized about 15 minutes after I ordered that I used my Visa Debit card to purchase the coin. I was in such a hurry I just grabbed the first card I could get my hands on. So maybe things will work out.
@ Honestcoins, what time was your order confirmation received from them? Mine was for 13:12:24. I guess that is 1:12PM Austrailan time? This is the time stamp that is on the confirmation email that I received from them. If you got one definitely, then you can help others out to figure out where they stand based on your time stamp. Thanks.
Good idea Jaceravone: 13:06:38 It didn't say sold out immediately after I finished my order so there is still hope for you!
I am still hopefull that the group of us that ordered all about the same time will get our coins. I know that 6 minutes is a long time when it comes to avid Hedgehog collectors, but I still feel good. I received my order confirmation and am hoping for the best. That was a nice email that you sent them btw.
they had 2 for 500 which sold out, then 3 for 599 which sold out. Not sure how many they listed at 699...
I called them up and they confirmed that my order was received and will dispatch the parcel the coming days. horray ~~~~
