Me too, I joined the games late and I didn't buy my Hedgehog cheaper cause I was reading somewhere to wait until the coins were arriving in the US and price would drop around $120-150 Fortunately didn't wait too long and after looking at the coin design I have been very skeptical about price drop, and bought it for about $240.00 or something Still an excellent deal Alex.
Just received my second Hedgehog coin as well. If anyone is interested its up on ebay right now. Very reasonable BIN price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/290706098135?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649

Thread subject us: Will the Mongolian Ural Owl & Hedgehog win The COTY Awards? Can anyone point me to the (judging) criteria for this competition please?
I also think this MONGOLIAN menagerie is MANIPULATED, and that is why I am asking to see the COTY rules.
Krause Publications Announces Coin of the Year Nominees http://www.coinweek.com/news/specia...ications-announces-coin-of-the-year-nominees/ and as predicted by some people owl and hedgehog are not even listed
Acme, the owl and hedgehogs are not listed because there are two years lag... E.g. Mongolian Gulo Gulo released in 2007 was adjudged the winner of COTY 2009. The Ural Owl 2011 will only be entitled for COTY 2013 nomination and similarly, the Hedgehog 2012 will only be eligible for COTY 2014 nomination... 2 years after their release dates.
Is anyone looking to buy a Gulo Gulo 2007? Please PM or visit my listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/270967796210?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
Is there any information to be had about when/what the next coin in the series will be? Where would I Look for that information?
A few years ago it was listed on the Central Bank Of Mongolia Website under commemorative coins. But it looks like they completely redesigned the site.
I got to see the picture of the Mongolian Hedgehog way before its release at the Berlin World Coin Show thanks to Antonello from Powercoin.it
