Bicycle mafia parts delivery FRF couriers . Campagnolo headsets ,hard to come by cheap . Paid $70 each ,anywhere from $130 - $200 depending who & when . So I bought a few for $70 ,the used one was $60
I picked up an electric chain sharpener for my saw chains. It was only $30. How the hell I've been cutting wood for 20 years without one I'll never know! So easy!!
We finally got our well drilled and they finished yesterday. Weve been waiting all summer it seems. We have a nice mess to clean up with the drill tailings but it's all worth it and we officially have a water source now. We picked a great place to drill so I couldnt be happier. The water is only 20 feet down in the pipe going down 220 ft total and produces 240 gallons an hour. I need get a 12v pump and some panels and get things hooked up. I want a hand pump for back up. I guess I can say that I'm glad my hole wasnt dry. I wish I could say it a different way haha.

We got our well drilled last week finally, been waiting all summer. We picked a good spot and just out the front door, produces 4 gallons a minute. Now we need to get the hand pump and a solar setup. I'm excited! Starting to feel like a real homestead now.
I found an entire kit from Rural Power Systems and it's on the way for one ounce of gold. From the panels to the pump and everything in between is included. All I need to get is the grounding spike and a 4.5 inch pipe for the solar panels to mount on, also whatever spigot I want for the tap.. I'm super excited to have water. The lady there I was dealing with said a guy had water pumping in a hour and 7 minutes from unboxing so my son and I will try to beat that of course. My wife has been a real soldier through this off grid adventure haha. What a woman.
I was so excited tonight, before it got dark I went out and shoveled out the well head and found a wheelbarrow and our ash can. It's been a good day. Also i learned that if i take a pic with my wife's fone and text it to my fone it downsizes it for me so i can post pics! Theres nothing like outside work during a Gunnison winter. I'm practically a computer genius now.
It's my wife's car but it's not bad yet. She will wash it after spring when the mud dries up. It's a losing battle anyway and costs a half oz of silver every time, stays clean for about 30 seconds. Like the wise man says, " a man with a dirty car has the money still in his pocket."
