I got 19 of these old little electric motors from a garage sale, The guy said they were used in a factory that manufactured relays. (whatever that means) *shrug*
They're pretty cool in that they all turn at different speeds, ranging from a few second's per rev, up to 25 hours per rev, I've no idea what I'm going to use them for, but I couldn't say no to something to strange.
Also I got talking to the guys at the garage sale and ended up trading some silver. :) so that was excellent.
Sorry about camera quality, but my phone is a potato.

Could be from gas / electricity meters give different speeds they run at. Manufacturer name also points to this.

I hadn't even googled the maker yet, interesting.
They came out of a factory this guy worked in many many years ago. They were used to flick switches on and off at set intervals, these were the spare parts for when they needed replacing, so when the factory shut down the dude just grabbed them.
I just need to think of something to use them for now... How often does one think, "you know what would be really handy, an electric motor that drives at 1rev per 30 hours." I could make the worlds slowest electric car. lol
