My thoughts with it hitting $50 or near , twice last year.... and it being so volatile this early in the year... i wouldnt be suprised if around september it explodes to around $70 per oz

what, after it drops to $20 per oz first? Such is the volatility and unpredictability of the commodity in these never-before-seen world wide financially fragile times.

Unless someone has mentioned a Parabolic effect and supported their supposition with a graph..this move means very little

I've noticed that it rises and falls in relation to AUD and USD.. It's all quite a big headache with all hope and no outcome so far, personally if I think it would've been wiser to invest in bank shares.

Australian Bank shares down around 15 % across the board in the last year. Happy to stay in silver! Gold up around 12 % last year even after the correction...

Same here! :( I was promised *the world* by another silver investor, some months ago now, and all I have to show for it is a pile of lousy broken eggs (speaking metaphorically). Its a fraud I say, a ponzi scheme, and we have both been sucked in :(

So.. shall we your respective stacks in a firesale in the trading forum tonight or tomorrow? You guys know what they say...these drops are the silver tree shakers.... shaking off those not holding on tight enough.

If you think silver is a get rich quick scheme, you're put your money in the wrong area.

Huh? Are you certain? The word on the street says that it is... or, at least that's what Huggy Bear says. (Starsky & Hutch)

If I were to do that, that would require a total change of my moral compass.

Before supporting the beast, sell me your silver cheaply.
I hear it's headed to 20 dollars an ounce. I offer a more-than-generous 25. You don't want to be on the losing side, do you? Sell now before it all goes under.
    :)

Bank shares moved sideways and paid a 7% dividend.

The bank shares win this year to date.

hehe each to their own. You guys realise this is moving towards an 'I'm smarter your dumber' 'I'm richer, your poorer' line of conversation...?

My mummy drives a beamer and you suck!

I left that behind a long time ago.....

Check as many times as you want.... Banks still came off better.

let's not trivialize the fact that bank shares outperformed your silver.

Everything can be true if you narrow the perspective sufficiently enough; eg. All those people who flipped dragons and doubled their money, might have a different view.
