2015 Koala GOT LOST in a Hospital
I was wondering if Perth Mint would "mint to order" any 2015 carded Koalas, and I looked all over the internet for an answer, and only found it on this SilverStackers blog. Thanks to all of you who share the info! I am close to finishing my set of 2007-2014 carded Koalas...had to wait 12 months on eBay to find a 2012 carded Koala for sale, and snapped it up on an offer of US$130...I have 3 different 2007 carded Koalas, a small green one and two big ones with photographs of a eucalyptus tree and koala behind the coin. All three have The Perth Mint and its logo stamped on the back of the cards. The tree card is from the Berlin World Money Fair and has a stated mintage of 2,500. but the other two carded koalas don't have any mintage numbers. Does anyone know whether the 2007 mintage number of 3,060 refers to both the green and eucalyptus tree cards, or just one of them?
I always tought the green carded is from either Downies or Sherwood, which is an after market products. I tought the blue carded is the Perth Mint ones. Or ist the other way around?
