Ok So Snakes are still readily available at issue price... do you newbs still think they will hold their value.. for mine they seem to be bringing down the entire lunar set...

Notice the BB countdown went rather quiet when a month later they are STILL IN STOCK... No Dragon.. Understatment of the millenium.

If they cant even sell 300k at these slightly hiked prices... who will be the sucker buying them at higher levels.... and for those who only rate the non-privy verison, are you saddened.disappointed to see its still available on-line at OG price levels? Dont you think the Privy version is going to bring the price down?

Its looking like the Kook set is MORE popular at the moment .. Somehow.. i did not predict that.

Im very hopeful of $38 Snakes still.. but ill take privys at $37 if not.

People going nuts for Kookaburras at the moment, heaps have sold for over $50 each on ebay in the last few weeks. Wish I bought more of the remints when they came out, would have done better than buying snakes!!!

LOL.. Yep and some SS's pissy cos they cant even sell em at $43 each... RRRRRrrr yeah... thats cos Site sponsers are selling them cheaper (BB).. not seeing to many buzzes ATM... im sure they will go over $42 eventually.. hopefully its not a 20 year wait.. esp given how inflation is running.

    Why is this happening ?
Because every man/ woman & they're dogs are buying up to flip
    Collectors NO
    More like speculators
I've notices the amount of new people coming into the game & thinking they can make a quick $
We had a woman come in last week wanting a 1oz proof Dragon , we didn't have one
But also asking if the proof Snake is going to get the same premium

People , having $50-$100k to spend " DOES NOT MAKE YOU A DEALER "

    ;)

If you bought your snakes in the 30s like some of us you could still flip them :p
Granted it hasn't been the result I predicted but profit be profit.

So, if you bought the 1oz Proof you are now sitting on a paper loss. If you bought the 3 coin set you are now sitting on a paper loss. If you bought the 1/2oz proof....well..... its always going to be a loss.

So after all that, whos up for the 4 coin typesets, gilded, coloureds or high reliefs ?!?!

    Me, nada to all......

Seems like if you bought Snakes you are DOWN.. early days but ill predict it gets worse before it gets better.. we can look forward to addtional "SNAKE STIMULUS" from the PM.. which will water down the already waning demand..

Looks like the 2013 Kook may be the worst one out of all of them, these things have just had there mintage double yet the oversupply of re-minited kooks, 2012 kooks with Privy mean these are sitting around on the shelves.. not only have they not sold out but will they??? This is quite new for the PM to have bullion product that basically stinks...

MMMmmm Takus, Elephant and Noahs ark.

    Time will tell..
The market for kookas is not limited to the land of Oz alone.

RE: the 2013 kooks, its only the last few years bullion products have sold out. Up until about 2008 the kooks and lunars never reached their maximum mintage limit.

Good Point.. if your gonna shell out PHAT premiums for Lunar Proof stuff etc.. might as well get the S1 which has not been SH*T on.

did you guys here PM is putting up prices again? Are they trying to charge double the NZ MINT for an inferior product? Seems like it.
