Bullion Club are selling 2011 pandas for $44.52. A good buy, they are local and at least you know the are not fakes

    hmmmz... interesting idea :)

I suppose I might need to do a fire sale on some other prized silver and gold of mine to get more Panda stuff. :D

    hmmmz... really interesting idea.

I'm not a dealer or supplier... but maybe taking out a Premium Sponsorship might be the way to go :)

An Aussie collection of Pandas online :)

Expensive for a lowly Panda-fan like myself, but an interesting idea :)

    Thanks hiho!

APMEX sometimes has good prices and sometimes expensive prices. My own (admittedly biased) measure is to look at the China Ask price in the July Panda Pricepedia (which is $69 for the 2009 silver Panda) and add 15%. That makes $80 USD about right. APMEX at $99 seems high to me but, as mentioned, it reflects their low inventory and that other dealers are cleaned out. It's one thing to look for a deal on a single coin, but APMEX and PandaAmerica get orders for hundreds or thousands at a time so their pricing is a little defensive these days.

When I skim results on eBay I see a range of sales from the high $50's into the $80's. One sale of a coin for $50 but it's a MS-66 which is really low for a recent year. I note a couple of other $50s but suspect they are fake at a glance by their packaging. I also note that there are a lot of 2009 30th Anniversary coins going at reasonable prices. Investor sentiment on silver is weak now so that there are some auction bargains to be had if you can be confident a coin is real.

    Best wishes,
    Peter Anthony
