    Wow... nice pricing! :)

If I were accumulating Pandas for purely profit, I would get as many 2010s as possible.

It's only a matter of time before the 1oz 2010s hit the high $90s, just like the 2008 and 2009 series.

But it can be difficult sourcing a lot of 2010s all at once; so I would probably settle for 2011s.

But if you were assembling a decent size collection (which is hard and expensive to do - but can payoff big time if you can do it), work your way backwards from 2011.

Definitely you want to get a copy of PandaCollectors Pricepedia (disclosure: I get no kick backs from referring his material, and have to pay for my own copy).

I am always late to the party :( , I have come recently through this forum to like the pandas, is there a reference book that one can purchase that gives details on these little beauties. dont like the idea of fakes!!

    Great work Mi lao shu

I would love to see them all in a photo sticky like the one done of the kooks. I often look at that one and dream.

    430.00 CNY = 63.3193 AUD

I wouldn't touch the 2010s...a group buy on APMEX is cheaper!

I would go for the 01, 02, 05, 07, 08, 09 at that price level much better off.

It's the Chinese currency... Renminbi, also identified by the "yuan" sign ()... in easy terms, it's the Chinese dollar.

Yeah, once you pass 2000, the pandas start to get increasingly difficult to find.

There was talk about introducing a larger denomination than 100RMB, but the government insisted it would work harder to curb inflation, and didn't make a bigger note.

I also think that CG push people in China in PM to slow down inflation.

Perhaps, though I reckon CCTV (China's version of CNN - but state run) encourages people to diversify into gold and silver. A few weeks ago on the metro I was watching the news which was saying that people should start investing outside of the USD, and that gold and silver was safer place to be. Pretty good advice for the people.

    Hello folk,

Just joined this forum a few days ago, have been reading for a couple of weeks. So much information here, my head feels like it's going to explode.

I bought 4 2011 1 OZ Pandas today at $45 US each and they came with a capsule, was that a good price? I'm not really an investor or collector but I do like the look of them. I mostly have Canadian Maples in my collection but I don't like the look of them.

I would have bought more but that's all they had.

Welcome! Yuppers, that seems to be a reasonable price.

Though 2010s are really the flavor of the month at the moment, because of their expected returns in the next 12months, especially after the release of the 2012 Panda series. But nothing wrong in getting 2011s :)

Yuppers, Pandas are beautiful indeed :)
