    Very true.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not under the illusion that if I pay cash it is an invisible transaction, I purely consider it an additional LAYER of privacy.

Prepare to be amazed then: the cost of postage is too high and f2f saves me money!

Certainly everyone's situation is different and for a lot of stackers, especially regional ones, posted items work out cheaper, however that is certainly not my situation.
For me it costs $0 in driving costs, $0 in parking fees, plus I get free Vitamin D and exercise thrown into the deal

For the majority of items I am interested in buying that are for sale on SS, almost all of the time I can walk to a bullion dealer on my lunch break and buy it cheaper, purely because of the additional postage charges. Clearly it's not viable for me to buy on SS in those instances.
I have bought both f2f and from a bullion dealer in Brisbane, both times it was clearly cheaper than buying on SS and having them posted, but only because of the additional postage charges.

Wow, that is almost verbatim the UK Government's slogan that they were pushing to get new laws through to change/weaken privacy laws.
    Brainwashed much?

It's not about having anything to hide, it's about things not being anyone else's business!

Thank you for saying what I said.

I remain amazed, in your case doubly so. :)

I think this is one of the main discussion points of this thread isn't it? The fact that f2f versus mail is indeed a very different service, in the fact that dealing via the mail has additional risks.
