    Yep the corporatists have long been in bed with government for their free ride.

    Personally, I don't have a problem with one form of government or another providing healthcare, education and infrastructure provided that the taxation taken to provide those services is even across the earnings spectrum. The reason IMO that government has gotten so large is because the middle class (the largest voting group) haven't had to contend with half of their earnings taken every week. I guarantee you if we had a flat tax rate there would be massively higher scruitiny from 99% of the voting public on government expenditure than we have now.

    Take this topic as a prime example. Look at the whole population in their twenties right now. The majority are fairly low income earning people and the majority are not affected by the sliding scale of taxation. Hence most of them don't really care that those in the 45 plus age bracket are getting taxed through those nose right now to pay for all of this massive government. But I wonder If they would care if someone pointed out to them, that in 20 years time they would be the ones in that high tax bracket getting raped by the ATO in their prime earning years, but they won't be getting a cent of that back via a pension a few years later. They will have to live off of thier super which the unions want the government to rob even further.

    So they will end up paying their whole working lives for the pensions of their elders. Won't get a pension themselves. If the unions get their way they won't be able to have the retirement they want if they work real hard and get ahead in life. Only to have well over half of their weekly income taken in taxes when it really counts.

    Seems like a great deal for them don't you think?

    Dead f*cken right Peter ,why pick on the old and the lazy when there is so many more socalist programs to pick on ,the 8 billion a year wasted on foreign socalist aid trying to get a seat at the bastion of socalism the U N ,the billions wasted on socalist school programs ,the billions wasted in a response to the GFC when they panicked ,the crazy socalist spending programs when they relise the GFC wasnt that bad in aust ,the billions wasted on public servants to administer the carbon tax merry go round ,the billions wasted on a illegal economic refuges caused by there crazy open door policy ,the billions spent on a lifetime of care for said refuges who get all the public housing free medical more money than a pensioner will ever see in there lifetime . so lay of the pensioners and the lazy and attack the real problem the crazy SOCALISTS who cant controll there SPENDING OF OTHER PEOPLES MONEY

    I like the stickers on the dole bludgers cars that say " sponsored by centrelink ". Maybe they can give them free to pensioners.or change them to " about time they started giving me some back " or " it took 50 years of multiple taxes to get this fkn pittance "
