Looks like they lifted the 1 per household limit. 372 left if you want them all.

What I often get amazed by is the sheer number of colored coins and other types that the Canadian, Perth, and many others put out month after month, year after year. And we're not talking a small mintage number either. It must be in the thousands, where one has choice, yet, I don't see many of these issues flying off the shelf. It is quite astounding. You'd think they'd slow down, and maybe come out with a couple every month, or move to every other month; but they just keep coming out with odd shapes, different colors, crazy themes, etc...without any change in strategy. I'm astounded. It motivates me to stay with the classic stuff (semi-numi bullion); and of course my beloved Chinese medals. And granted they put out a lot of stuff too, but the craftsmanship and difference is head and shoulders above what the other mints are putting out. Yes, I know I 'm biased, but I'm entitled to my opinion.

    Hi,

We'd like to point out that our price for the 2016 $2 Kangaroo 2oz High Relief Silver Antiqued is the Official Issue Price set by the Perth Mint. If that was in US Dollars then the AUD amount WOULD be outrageous :D ;)

While international buyers are charged in Australian Dollars, they do have the GST component stripped from the final price upon checkout.

    Kind regards,

    Renee

You have to understand the new normal is mint to demand. Basically fill the orders prior to release date from your network of dealers and mint those coins and then see what sticks in the public sale and then get to those when you can. Remember they have an infrastructure of people in place, artists, minter guys, the bathroom cleaner shlub and so on so they need something to do otherwise its wasted money paying their salaries. Once in a blue moon they have a hot coin and then its all on. This is the RCM model for sure, Perth not as bad. I'm guessing the markup is pretty big on these goofy coins these days as we seem to be at the same price points as we were at 4 years ago when silver was $40 an ounce.

The Antique Kangaroo looking totally meh at the moment with 356 still out there, not much change from this morning.

I was just wondering, will Downies be carrying the Zombie Roo coin and any indications on what the price will be when it's issued? ;)

Though corny, watch someone make a Zombie animal series. I give it about 3 months.

Yeah, I'm not much into the whole zombie thing. Though apparently a number of stackers are.

    However..

After consulting Google Images, I'd honestly be interested in an Aussie skeleton series.. Roo, Koala, Kook, Emu, etc.

Would have to be done right, though. Not only with the correct designs & minting quality, but I'd probably be a *lot* more apt to pick 'em up if done by an AUS mint..

Seriously, I really don't mind if people "steal" ideas like this. I have no plans in getting into the PM production biz anytime soon.

I would benefit, however, by seeing my ideas come to actualization & getting custom pieces at normal pricing.. :D

I received one. I guess it has to be taken out of the plastic display to be straightened up, or someone at the Perth Mint has a crook eye.

A bit hard to get an idea of what it is like with the plastic around it.

Ok, I just discovered the plastic frame opens easily, so I'll take a better pic....
