These are still being bid up well over $150. Might have to wait a bit longer, I recon if I can get a bag I will be able to split it with the members of the coin club so we can all get one without massively overpaying.

    I
$150 sounds like a decent price, i remember seeing the 2013 purple being sold singely for $6 at A LCS in Melbourne.

I reckon $100 would be a good buy

I guess it depends on how many have been hoarded by the tellers. If they just have one bag they will want to get as much as they can for it but if they have bought loads of bags then they probably want to flip them quickly rather than be left holding them when the excitement dies down.

Might give it a bit longer.

The prices have been sliding for the past couple of days from $300+ to $150 currently as it looks like more supply is suddenly hitting the market

I'm not puting my money on these until I see the prices stabilizing

Information I have been given is that a deal was made by a certain bank with the mint, so only that particular chain of banks is likely to have or get them!!! Scam from the start....

Not sure why a certain bank would bother making a deal with the Mint as the coins are only exchanged for face value to customers requiring change for their businesses. It is just that people with access to them have realized they can make a bit of profit on them so are hoarding them before they are released into circulation.

$120 is a good price i think...wonder if it's going to be even $100 considering coins in a mint bag do get dint/scratches.

$165 is the cheapest at the moment.

I saw these coins at that certain bank a couple of days back, but were taking "reservations" on these coins. Looks like I'm going to have to open up an account there then.

Dont worry, I am in Sydney where they have supposedly been showing up, working at a cafe where we see plenty of $2 coins, and not a single one has come through. The banks around me have not seen any either. Its just a really small number of people making good money off of these.

At first I thought the RAM did a great job marketing these and getting people interested in coins, but how it has turned out, how many of the buyers at those crazy high prices will be fuming when eventually they all get dumped and come back to normal prices?
