    Please excuse my ignorance, but aren't these are Mexican?
    Just found out about them last year, and by then the premiums had gone kind of nuts (or maybe they have always commanded high premiums?)
    Absolutely stunning pieces, thanks for posting it.

    Bullion Barren did write "Don't have many Mexican coins, BUT here's one..."

    For anyone who is not familiar with the amazing coin Bullion Baron posted a picture of, it's a kilo silver Aztec Calendar coin. Scarce and stunning coins. Thanks for sharing B B.

    Doh... :)
    Well then the premiums are still not that bad. This might be the most desireable kilo coin out there (IMO)

    I would much rather spend money on a kilo silver Mexico Aztec Calendar or kilo PL (not bullion) Libertad than most any other silver kilo coin or medal out there. Kilo PL Libertad's and Aztec Calendars are in a tiny select group with very little company in terms of kilo coins and medals that are exceptionally appealing to me.

    Kilo Kooks and Koalas as just 2 examples are mediocre coins in comparison....IMHO.

    Viva Mexico kilo silver coins! :)

    @ironwood

    Are your kilo coins from different years and thats why they appear differently. Or is it simply a lighting effect on the liberty lady?

    :) The lighting was different for each pic. I don't have a fancy lighting setup so have to take them outside for natural light.

    The second picture makes the coin look amazing. I want that year :lol: it's good to know that I will be able to achieve this effect with any year libertad hopefully. A kilo libertad is on a long list of future purchases, I will get a proof libertad first. They look amazing.

    The mint mark in the upper right is a give-away.
