I harrased about 6 different PO today & all I got were No Lunars at all in Melbourne ,except the RAM $1 for $50 Maybe us Mexican's don't deserve them
A post on the forum a while back said the whole of WA Auspost only got 50 proof dragons. Not sure of the validity but could explain why so many POs are duds.
I was hunting those Lunar creatures ,but that's all I got on my fishing line Maybe if I stop hanging around with THE GREAT KANGAROO HUNTER I might catch some Lunars I'm beginning to think that the PM don't like us Mexicans
Well Redcliffe North is out of the Dragons but they have quite a few other items, Perth Mint, RAM, rolls of unc. coins, the commemortatives (50 cents and $1), mint sets, kangaroos, teeny tiny Koalas, the Kangaroo at Sunset, some small gold and loads of others. They have some rabbits from the Perth Mint still left over, colouored and I think gilded but I wasn't paying attention to the riff-raff The owner is good value for money as he is a coin collector and always makes sure he has plenty of stock, very friendly staff too as it is family run. I am going to check out the Woody point and Redcliffe Central but from memory the Redcliffe Central has very sparse stock under normal circumstances. Probably won't get down to Woody Point and I know there are some stackers that live there who might want to get in first.
Spannermonkey, How much did you pay for those boxed roos? I bought some carded 2012 roos today for $60 each at one of the POs around here. They had the proof ones at 2011 prices too.
SSSSHHH don't tell anybody ,but $75 each , I could have bought 4 carded Roo's as well at $60 each I suppose you want 1 $75 + postage And I'm keeping the last 1, I'll probably get it slabbed ,for my SLABBED coin fetish
Oooh I've been harrasing all the Melbpurne CBD PO's for weeks now. Either somebody has got there already ,OR THE PM doesn't like us Mexicans
Redcliffe's main PO was dry! Uness you like the royal wedding. Dragons 2659 2657 2655 2661 2667 Have all landed safely
Have been checking out the Gold Coast, not many post office's sell coins anymore so slim pickings - still looking for that elusive dragon 3-coin proof, they're out there somewhere
