I view anyone that shaves their head as a bald ( or going bald ) guy that's pretending he has a choice and just prefers to look bald. :|.
Ok I think I have to explain that Shaving your head in Germany is a political statement. Most Germans who shave their heads belong to a certain group Especially if a certain clothing goes along with it chances are very high that they are Nazies. That means they are usually not very educated, have littled selfesteem, are not well liked by most parts of society, are usally brainwashed, are sometimes brutal ... There are people who are just bald, but usually you can see it at their clothing that they are not Thugs.
Most Aussies that shave their head belong to a certain group too, the group of " bald or balding guys in denial " some even grow a rats tail from the pathetic clump left on the back of their skull and pretend they have a pony tail, or worse yet, " a warriors braid" I was just kidding kraut, we have skinhead neo nazi wannabe type idiots here too, i was just having a shot at bald guys pretending they are not. (bald that is) Because I have long flowing curls, and and everyone knows that "Curls gets the Girls"
This something for example I did not know that you have the same problems with the same idiots Lets built a racket and send them all to the moon.
I would like to share a joke that is very popular in Germany with you The UN launched a survey among its member states: "Please tell us your opinion on how to solve the food shortage in the rest of the world" it was a complete disaster South America did not know the word "Please" Afrika did not know what "food" meant The Near East had no Idea what as "Solution" is In Russia they had problems with the word "opinion" Europe did not know what "shortage" meant And the US did not know what " the rest of the world is"
I think he meant 3rd world ECONOMY not third world COUNTRY.. totally different things. Being the worlds quarry and not having much else.. apart from agriculture.. does make our economy look a little simplistic. Australia needs to ask Singapore for some advice, the way this country is now (minerals and agriculture) mixed with Singapore (finance and justice system/laws) will put this country up a few notches in both reality and peoples perception. You go there and everything is clean, organised and efficient. Come back here, and, well...
Australia needs to wake the hell up. What ever we are we do not have a first world economy!! The last decade has literally been an economic golden age for Australia. What have we got to show for it? Sweet FA that's what. We blew that once in a generation GIVE-ME on making our existing housing stock more expensive. IMHO that's not smart nor would I class that as being productive. We could have funded the Boomers retirement. Could have built infrastructure for the future. Now all we have left is eye watering private debt, retards in positions of power (Aus Post outsourced delivery of parcels if you can believe it) etc etc. Meh, the party is over and the bar manager is looking for someone to pay the tab.
I think oz still has a few years in the dirt pit to save its arse if the powers get smart about it .....& thats a big IF
Whilst we're talking Germany Man resigns with email telling 500 co-workers he hasn't done a day's work in 14 years http://www.couriermail.com.au/busin...work-in-14-years/story-fn7kjdgm-1226325584934
Agree with you there Nugget 100%, i could go on and on. What we have experienced over the last century and the opportunities we have had.. and what we have to show for it and how things generally are around the place is embarrassing. I think alot of it stems from 'welfare state' and poor attitude of people. Too much waste and too much complacency.. people need to open their eyes and see what is happening in the world. See what other countries are achieving when they have had it tougher and less to work with than us.. and they are coming along better than us.. good for them i say. I can't say Australia is bad.. but we can do and be a hell of alot better. Pity it won't happen, our culture won't allow it.
All travellers should be warned that Singapore has a dress code. Even the street sweepers wear suits, I kid you not. My first purchases in Singapore were clothes. the casual gear I wore in other countries ( shorts, Tshirts etc were just too embarassing in Singapore .
Thats why we love our public officials There is a general prejudice against them, that they do not work Theres is that joke about game "Beamtenmikado" (public officials mikado) The first in a public office who moves has lost the game Personally I believe that a lot of them do work but since it is a save job there some who dont If you managed to a "civil servant" you cannot be fired. As far as I know the cost for "civil servants" are still within limits in Germany This maybe a frustrating circumstance but situation is probably far worse in Italy and France I do not know how it is with other European countries
We could start by stopping the wholesale sell off of anything Australia has of value to Overseas interests. And follow other countries lead in NOT giving citizenship to any one that wants it, not allowing foreign ownership of land ( AT ALL, ANY LAND ) even so called third world countries like The phillipines and Indonesia are not stupid enough to let foreigners buy up their land and their rights. ( I know, I've tried) The more I drive by huge estates owned by Arab Emirates, Peabody Coal mines, and countless other profitable ventures owned by foriegn investers, the stupider I believe Aussies to be.
I've heard the argument used that "they can't take it away" However I also have read that in Argentina that Argentinians starved whilst the foreign companies exported food grown in Argentina to Europe. The breaking point came when a young girl was interviewed at Christmas time and asked "What would you like for Christmas?" and she replied that she wanted to die because she was so hungry. Welcome to the new world order where multinationals don't give a flying about anything other than the bottom line
 My mum used to tell me German jokes or old German sayings all the time when I was young. For some reason the punch line or the message was always lost in translation. This one wasn't though ))
