hey i bought on ms 70 2010 panda and one 2009 ngc ms69 panda. The ms 70. the NGC strip below the grade is not shiney but the 2009 ngc 69 is. is it a fake? or older model style ngc grade? both in newer slabs.
Check to see if it matches the photos on the NGC website. I know they changed labels at some point, but I don't remember when it was exactly.
This guy has some panda coins bet. 2000 and 2011 for auction. I bought a set of silver Beijing Olympic coins from him, good coins, although he lost most of certificates. He sold some 199x panda pretty cheap around New Year. Although next time if I bid his coin, I will first ask him to make sure whether there is spot/stain on the coin. I bought another coin from him 2-3 weeks ago, got a big yellow stain on the coin, I hate to pay for the shipping back, so kept it. http://www.ebay.com/sch/dmaze45780000/m.html?_fln=1&_ipg=
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2000-China-Panda-NGC-MS-69-Ncs-Conserved-/200711828008 Good price on a frosted panda for those who don't have one; Also helps that the AUD is strong right now. Can be had for ~$405 if you use paypal I think.
+1, its cheap I bought my serif and other pandas from this seller, the quality of his coins is very good
I think the 2000 Frosted is a great buy at the moment. Most chinese sellers want close to 500 for OMP, but there have been plenty of coins sold in the 330-360 range on eBay. That MS69 for only 393US was a bargain I feel. The mintage is not especially low, but they are a great design, have the millennium factor and are a great companion coin to the 2000 Mirror.
Anything else worth buying from the same seller? Trying to reduce postage costs and unfortunately haven't done much panda research. Thanks.
Yeah I have seller's permission to combine postage with other items he's selling. Here's a link to his other items: http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/coinworld13/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686
Ahhh ok. Good work on snagging bargain. I think the 2009 MS69 NGC for $95 US seems good. Duno about the rest.
