Perhaps its because its an archaic construct meant to placate the masses, and allowing the weak minded/willed to believe that they are not at fault for their position in life because its some imaginary "friends" grand plan, same as in reverse those in positions of power have used it to keep the masses down and been able to use the excuse that it is not "in the plan" for you, or alternatively convincing them to do something they would not otherwise to, or to participate in something they would not otherwise participate in, this can be as little as a charity event or even terrorism and "crusades", both of which are really only a fight over who's imaginary friend is better
Prehaps, but thats how it goes. I was writing the message in stops and spurts between meetings and phone calls as such I am not and was not concerned for grammar and punctuation.
How could anyone prep for something like this. Pretty much if you live in a city you F#@!ED. Watch this video holey crap
I like your explanation, I'm of the belief that religion is a very slowly dieing legacy of a time before CCTV so control was gained by making you think someone is always watching. Don't need to imagine someone anymore as the watchers are now able to watch everyone all the time.
This has nothing to do with religion, but about the thread topic. For those opposed to the Bible, please ignore: Here are just a few Bible references pertaining to the end times(present). It is fascinating to me the things that were foreseen 2000 years ago are at hand, finally. As we enter these perilous times, we can be preparing ourselves and our families for these most unprecedented events that are about to occur. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. -- 2 Tim. 3:1 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. -- Matt. 24:6 "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." Mat 24:7 "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;" Luk 21:25
Hmmm.. just made another shocking discovery. This one also from the book of Revelation: And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. Revelation 16:8-9 Could this be talking about the increased solar flare activity? Is there mega flares to come?
My grandmother who was a very quite lady with great Christian values always used to quote to me when I was a child. Jesus was asked the question about end times to which he replied " No one shall know the time of the end of the world, not even those that sit on my fathers right hand side". Regards Errol 43
I turned off at prepare your anus. But I like this guy's version:
Short answer is yes, it has happened in the past and it will surely happen in the future. The question should be when and where will it happen/effect and those are are up for debate. The same can be said for Pandemic, asteroid/comet impact, mass warfare, currency collapse or any other number of things EDIT: In the face of this all you can do is prepare for the worst, hope for the best and do the best to make sure you and yours come through the other side as unscathed and in the best position possible
This is not a religion or bible forum, and pretending that your posts have "nothing to do with religion" when the only thing in your posts are quotes from the bible is rather transparent. The Bible and it's prophecies have no more to to with reality than any other text from any other religion or cult. Let's at least try and keep discussion relevant to the facts and to actual reality.
It is narrow minded to isolate religion and politics from any debate on what is likely to happen eventually to our world or AU/AG, as they are intermingled. To do so would only lead to false and erroneous assumptions.
There are plenty of religious and political forums. Go to them if you have a political or religious agenda. Go to them if you want to discuss religion or politics that are not directly and relevantly connected with gold and silver. Otherwise bad blood is a created between people who are trying to create trust and relationship for learning about , and trading ,in precious metals. You risk destroying a useful precious metal forum.
I can understand the argument for politics having an effect on the Au/Ag and how that ties in, as it very clearly does, however beyond the "use" of terrorism from a religious point of view scaring people into precious metals, or scaring governments in to the use of them, or alternatively giving the governments of the world the proviso of the banning of them as they "could be used to fund terrorists" or whatever other BS they come up with, both of which would be big news in other areas of society such as politics and as such would be reported here thereby making religious discussion a moot point.
