Yes back on topic, fishball in the lead at $560 for 2 pieces of brass.

That's what? 10000000000000000% over spot?

I totally agree ... I just didn't want to upset anyone by chatting in their sales thread but it's all been positive and fun anyway !

And the bids continue to rise as well :D

    Sorry Fishball.
I have received a higher private bid from another Panda collector for $575
Your initial estimate was spot on.
    Cheers

Ps. I would prefer if the bids were more transparent but trust me the current highest bidder is well known by you guys.

Potentially you'll be able to renovate your bathroom when you eventually decide to sell these!

I am also very interested in this auction.

+1. Surprised to see many saavy bidders going to almost market value for this. I expected that (without comeaux) the ending price would've been low-mid 100s tops.

Considering the recent trend of SS members cleaning out pandas left and right I'd dare say there's a massive following but people are just quiet.

This is totally unacceptable... the price of this Panda is rising to the Chinese market value!

Everyone go buy some dragons or kooks in the Buy/Sell thread!!!

Remember pure bullion is what is recommended by some of the experts here!

Think about the SHTF situations! The sky could collapse today! Iran moved some boats into the Mediterranean - Nuclear war could break out imminently! Then what would this brass bear be worth!?

    :( :( :(

Argh... it's not easy to speak things that I don't believe... Congratz to all... seems like a beautiful Panda is recognized by many.

How often does a Chinese equivalent of a 1930s Penny avail itself so easily on the Australian market?

ahhaha... yeah... PM me his username... I'll put a 6hour ban on his account! :) eheheh (joking!) :)

I keep telling myself... "THOU SHALT NOT COVET THY NEIGHBOR'S PANDAS!"..."...for a piece of bread a man will do wrong"

    Congratulations Yennus, great buying!

Also, big thanks for the auction Aurora. Not often seen these in single OMP, let alone 2 in a sheet.

    Very cool.
