Napthelene Man, Intelligencer, with all due respect it is a very difficult game to try and make money buying into stocks/businesses which don't yet have any cash flow (i.e. speculating). Naturally buying into these types of companies (i.e. speculation) has a higher ratio of losers and is more difficult to execute successfully.

Seriously people speculate on start ups and other loss making businesses and then complain when they fail to back many winners. Well what do you all expect? It's much easier to make money buying business which are already profitable.

VML has just had a rocket lit under it :)

I'm loving the junior stock plays. Just wish I had more money as always.

ann. out today for MAR valuing their resource @ "$230m"

MAR "proposes to conduct a program of about 4,400m of diamond drilling in 2011, commencing around mid year... a new mineral resource estimate will then be undertaken"

    up ~20% today

nice little boost for you guys already holding :D

Yes MAR had been concentrating on their gold project Lorena after the funding for Conrad (silver and tin) was marginal.

I have no problems with that at all. Its still worth something in the ground :)

When silver prices go up, as they will the resource will become valued close to a billion dollars. The upside is certainly there.

    Just quietly......FML up 51% in 3 weeks.

I may have missed the '3 pure silver players' but I think this is still worth bragging about.

Been holding Beadell Resources (BDR) since november 2010, Ive been really impressed how it has weathered the economic environment since then. They have Iron Ore potential and good resources, is an emerging producer in a part of the world that could see some major aquisitions. Im personally hoping to see BRD move to production (which is their goal) and expand.

It's well worth having a look.

how many here took up the SPP offer from FML?

I only received my paper work in the mail today and it closes on the 15th April. I think i'v missed the boat since its on a first in first served basis.

Still, i don't think its the end of the world since I bought at the low 5c range.

Just received my offer today as well, and really not sure why it took so long to get to me compared to offers from other companies. However, not going to take up the offer.

Well from what i'v been reading on HotCopper there are a lot of pissed of holders who are raging that they might miss out because of the late delivery. Seems like Melbourne got it last.

No big deal if you weren't going to take it up I guess.

I got the SPP for FML on Friday the day they said it closed. I rang up to complain and all they said was it actually closed the day before on the Thursday due to oversubscribing! Grrr. How could that be if no one got it til too late! :/

Given FML increase in share price (congratulation to all those who own) to the current price.; Do you still think FML is a good buy? Why is the stock so cheap for a midtier gold producer (or are they still considered tiny) compared to say RMS or SUM. The have no debt and almost 2.1M oz in reserve. This seems like a good stock for a solid gold play, Please shed some light on a newbie investor!
