yep we will never know on how many rolls were done but 10% were rolled on those figures so yep stash em for a few years they will thin out by then with dealers market dumping for the quick profit prices plummeted so hopefully it was just people buying for their collection and won't come back on the market.

but reading between the lines many are holding several for sale into the future so time will tell as they say :D

Mintage below 20 million and the oldest so probably fewer around in good condition at a guess.

Looks like the price for the 2014 mint rolls is picking up again. Seem to be going for around $60 posted on ebay at the moment.

Is there a common ground i regards in how many rolls have been opened? Ie like a depreciation value?

I have see personally around 30 rolls have been opened. Would it fair to say 5% has been opened?

How do you find a box of unopened rolls?

Found at a garage sale, found in a coin shop, found in the back of a cupboard?

I felt greedy buying two rolls :)

Well when you decide to sell yours would you mind giving me a heads-up first, might as well get in before you flood the place with your 300 rolls.

Haha it's a bad habit. Buy PM's, store them around the place and then forget to put them in the vault. The lady calls me a "pirate squirrel" every time we move and little stashes are found

If you're looking to buy, happy to do special price. I'll bring some to the Syd Stackers Xmas party if we're having one.

Not looking to buy any more but thanks for the consideration.

No, I am just hoping to offload my small amount before Bullion Baron floods the market and I get left holding on to them for them next decade until prices rise again.

Whenever I find things it is usually because I had to hide them from the wife in a hurry and forgot to retrieve them when the coast was clear. Doesn't happen so often these days but it is nice to stumble across something which has been in the back of a drawer for a few years.

    Hi all,

Would anyone know the mintage totals (exact or forcasted) for 2014 Australia's decimal range:

    5, 10, 20, 50 & $2 ? The $1 Mor's has been mention previously.

    Thanks in advance.

the other coins wont have a mintage figure till late next year early 2016 I would say they only announced the MOR's so people bought them after all they didn't want to take the rolls home :D

That is for the roll. When they first came out they were going for $100. Then Downies put heaps on the market for $36 a roll. They stayed at $50 or $60 for a roll for ages. Now it seems supply has really dried up on these. Wish I stocked up on more a year ago. Downies must be pissed selling them for $36 a roll and now seeing them sell for $150 a roll. But who knows if they will hold at these prices may just be a temporary glitch.

I sold a couple of my 2014 MOB rolls yesterday for $145 each, pretty good return. Does any one have any idea how high the prices might get upto for these rolls in the near future.
