Wooow! I was sure that my favourite coin would be in the nominees! I have been waiting to see it in this list for a long time! After so many copies with swarovsky and glass inserts, for me this is definitely the most innovative coinage, the first nano technology coin, the magnificient NANO SISTINE CHAPEL Alex.
I'm very happy too. If you want to get some of them for current price it's maybe better to hurry up. Who knows where prices will go. Moon walk? If I'm not wrong Nano world was first with Nano chip, but this one is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much interesting. I won't say Nano world is not cool coin (or that I don't want to have it), but I think it should be worth much less. I agree, there are too many coins various glass inserts. I just can't wait to see the 3rd, 4th, 5th...
Anybody know when will the final COTY 2014 winner be announced? And can normal people vote through internet too, or that is only for selected people? Alex.
Thank you for info AgAuNews! By the way, I checked your website/blog and it is fantastic! I like the graphic, the articles style and finally a nice site that informs about latest news about modern coins. I hope that your site will become more and more complete and one of the major sources where to find info. By the way, I think you still haven't made an article about the nano-technology coins, big news in the numismatic market about coins with inserts. I'd love to read your professional opinion about the series topic of this thread, Ceilings of Heaven: Nano Sistine Chapel and Nano Raphael Rooms. Coins are struck by CIT and project is commissioned by Power Coin company. Congratulations again for the site! Who doesn't know it yet, I recommend: http://agaunews.com/ Alex.
... agree, very nice webpage!!-> of course... we want to see something about nano And I recommend also his facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/AgAuNEWS Stephan
The Nano coins are on the list for a profile. Thanks for the kind words, Coin'treau also. Makes the effort worthwhile to know people use and enjoy it. Been tied up for a few days helping the Mrs display the NZ Mint coins at the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary celebrations in London. Had a hello with Tom Baker and lusted after Jenna Coleman like a sad old man Was pretty good fun although quite a few people there were on the wrong side of odd...
Hi there Nano friends, now you can check the exact Raphael chip data online. Enjoy http://zoom.it/H0Tg#full
Hi SS I have one question regarding NANO RAPHAEL ROOMS coin... Is Nanochip permanently attached to the coin? I was asked this question by my friend who recently bought this coin. The Nanochip on his coin was founded loose. I was pretty sure it should this way/ it should be removable. I appreciate all your help.
Dear Silvercoinshow, ups... no of course not! These chips should be fully integrated to the coin without removing it. Checked just the returns... there weren't any with loosing chips... Not sure what to do. Does the chip look fine? Stephan
I am still waiting for photos of the coin which my mate promised to send me. Thanks to you we know that the coin is damaged. I hope he will not have any problem with sending this coin back and getting a refund. I will post pics as soon as I get them. I had similar problem when I received 2012 The Mecca-Qibla Kaaba Compass coin. In my case it was an arrow I found loose. The proof finish coin was scratched all over. I got my refund. I don't blame seller (my coin was well packed) but somebody who delivered it perhaps should be more carefull. Thank you Coin'treau for quick response.
Here the new, just released Nano Sea video...
I wonder if I employed a whole army of ants with diamond chisels they could make me one of these!! I was thinking if the 'Nanochip' was a device to let the federalis track our coins so they could purloin our gold an silver hoards but they are just too darn pretty for anything any fed bureaucrat could even conceive. Awesome pictures guys. Maybe I could afford one when I am loaded one day! Thanks for posting em up. Furthermore am sure cointreau is an alcoholic beverage with a citrus flavour to it......
