This coin doesn't need introduction. I like this new coin even more then the The Sistine Chapel ceiling coin (first coin of series). What do you think? Specification: Country Cook Islands Year 2013 Face Value 5 Dollars Metal Silver Fineness (purity) 999/1000 Weight (g) 25 Size (mm) 30 x 45 Quality Antique Finish Mintage (pcs) 999
Great design, great execution, great aesthetics, etc... coupled (IMO) with a totally unjustifiable price and definitely not my cup of tea. If/when I spend long bucks on a single coin, it'll be a legit, established (probably graded+slabbed) and recognized coin with solid numismatic value. I'm just not into the current rash of "collectible" currently-made bullion coins with "Swarovski crystals" (glass chips), paint-job decals, mini-stained-glass windows, antique finishes, 3-D sculpture-like bullion coin-type-things and all the rest of that stuff.
All you do is make video's of these type of coins & come here to pump them up Anything that is marketed as " COLLECTABLE" IS NOT
If this coin would be a little heavier it would be a clear winner. 2oz or 50g version would be amazing. Still the capsule of this is 2oz version, so 50g would be probably very big due to elliptic form of coin. With some luck you will able to get in on eBay for maybe even 150, but it all depends on demands (and price of silver of course). Werewolf it's 2oz and it's for same price. I very like it and I think it's maybe even nicer than first one. Have enough of animals.
The coin is amazing!!! I like so much first coin Nano Sistine Chapel cause it is simple and a worldwide recognizable design, but this more intricate design is spectacular. What makes these coins so expensive is not the silver of course, but the technology which is behind these nano-chip (which are not cheap crystals to use as eyes of spiny animals ) This is another coin whose price has nothing to do with silver price, it would be like pricing a Tiffany Art coin according to current price of two oz silver In other words, talking about jewelry, if you buy a silver ring with a diamond on top, you don't price it according to how much silver there is on the ring, but look at how big, shiny and beautiful the diamond is. Alex.
I was thinking you SS will convince me to buy this coin. Like I wrote before I like this new coin more then old one. That's all.
I thought that you are presenting this as a dealer. I doesn't have powercoin watermark so you must go it from them directly.
I disagree with you. Try to make one video. Experience how much work and patience you have to put in one single video. Then say something like "all of you do is make video... to pump them up" I sold maybe 4 time at ebay some coins and some pandas to my local dealer. I understand there are some dealers who try to sale some new stuff, but this is part of advertising and perhaps you should appreciate their efforts more, instead of complain.
This is a higher resolution picture, look at the tiny details in the lower part of the coin. I love them!!! Source: www.powercoin.it
Yeah, I wanted to write similar about nano chip. It really adds some "amazingness" to the coin. Though you would need at least some decent magnifying device. I've once read article (gold was more than platinum) where one analytic was rhetorically asking will gold on ring become more expensive than diamond. Some people will love it, some people will hate it. For some 250 is way too much, for other it's just ok. Some pay for things other consider "garbage" huge sums of money. This is what we are - beings containing different opinions. Please continue posting your videos. When someone posted video about latest Tiffany coin I realized that coin is even more beautiful.
Hahaha. That is the same way Apple is pricing products in Europe. Same price in Euros (if not more) as it is in Dollars, except that euro is being "worth" 30% more.
