GP, my problem with Gainesville is their previous history of price gouging, like the ATB coins. A Gainesville representative called me on Thursday or Friday trolling for sales. While Gainesville is not the place I make most of my purchases, for myself and others, I have probably purchased well over $100000 from them in the last year. When I mentioned that I was out of the market until the Lunar dragon and Canadian Wildlife coins came out in September, he immediately went into the story about the distributor who tried to buy out the entire 1oz gold dragon mintage. I let him know that if the premiums were too high on dragons, I was going to pass on those coins. Due to the large difference in premiums charged, any Canadian Wildlife coin purchases will be made from Tulving. So Gainesville will either get a very large order from me or nothing. I don't have any expectation regarding the purchase of dragons, so if I do end up getting a few boxes, the purchase will be a pleasant surprise.

So in summary any Dealer that has taken Pre Orders for Silver Dragons is 'HEDGING' ?
That takes some Kahoonas considering Perth Mint delivery is a while off and the US is close to default.

A pre-order by it's very nature is hedging - customers who bought pre-orders are hedging against a future rise in spot or reduction in supply.

I think you've got it backwards - it would take big kahunas NOT to hedge long delivery.

Dragon = I like it. A lot more traditional looking dragon than the Gold coin design.
