    ...is not in this post.

    HOWEVER - I was talking to a coin shop owner today in Melbourne, who swears he has been shown a copy of the design in the past week.

    Wonder if it's the real design, or the hoax that a member here created :)

    Said it was very similar to the 2000 design. Asked if I could see it, was told he was shown an image, and did not have a copy.

    I attempted to wheedle a copy of the design off a mint employee and they did not have access to it :) We need to broaden our insider network!

    I'm guessing the design would be done by now ?, not sure how long it would take to engrave. Any one know how many coins the mint can do daily in the 1-2 oz range.

    with the anticipation, i think the 1oz's will sell out their mintage in 1-2 months...
    gold coins 1 oz 1 month....its going to be CRAZY
    (unless silver goes to the moon @ 500/oz lol )

    i can't WAIT!

    I'm thinking the only thing stopping a 3week sell out is that perth mint doesn't have the coins minted. have to set up a comp on how fast till they sell out of 1 oz'ers.

    I'd expect 1 or more of our dealers to do a bulk buy, by August Dragon mania will have set in and lots of info will start to show up.

    CK....i will be in on that!....got my son interested in silver......my daughter is also dead keen.....she is particular though......she only wants to collect lunar s!!!!..........is that only girls are like that???....particular??....anyway i wonder if they will do 10kg silver coins this year?? that would be an awesome coin.
