Crusader Resources opperates in Brazil They have two development projects Posse Iron Ore Project - plant commissioned and ready to produce with off-take in place (waiting License from devestatingly slow Brazilian beurocrates who have been on strike) ($10 per tonne mining cost- Iron spot at $50-80) without approvals money can still be made - they have permits for benefaction process (crushing) not chem refining process (consentration) Source:http://www.crusaderresources.com/projects/posse-iron/ Borborema Gold project (Flagship) - resource and reserves of over 2mil ounces - looking for production target of 150,000 oz/pa cash costs lower than $700 Source:http://www.crusaderresources.com/projects/borborema-gold/ Shares on Issue - 126,616,040 Options - 4,460,000 Top 20 shareholders own 67% (Directors hold 10% of the company) Market Cap - $43mil Fully Funded to complete Bankable Feasability Study on Borborema through recent $7.9m placement @.48, due for release this year Holds + 4,000km2 of land (exploration upside along strike) I have been buying since 80c - picked up some this morning @ 35c Tightly held - liquidity low - but very undervalued (IMHO) Takeover Target (again IMHO)
Obviously the graphics are the numbers from 2011, but gives you an idea
These guys are waiting on permitting to start mining Iron Ore at Posse, will be making about $50 per tonne profit (watch the Posse video - the ore is basically pre-alluvial. Very easy to mine). If/when that announcement is released - this stock will go back up to challenge $1 - if that's what happens, its a 92% gain from current prices. Because it is tightly held, large investors getting in is difficult without running the price up prematurely. This is when the little guy (ie me) has a massive advantage over the bigger investor.
Now WHY do I like the name of this stock lolol?!!!??!!?? Actually, ten years ago I had great hope for the Brazilian Real and S Am economies generally - but the takedown of the Real happened last year. I was initially v disappointed at that, until I heard my dickwad brother had immediately prior invested & leveraged on around US$5M of beachfront development land near Fortaleza BR... which made me smile... a lot... (Nearly as successful as his development venture in Ft Lauderdale which he signed-off in Sept 2007... at the very top of the pre-GFC US housing market - There IS a God after all lol!!!) Thanks for this SS. x
Latest release: Highlights Proven and Probable Ore Reserves of 1.61Moz of mineable gold from 42.4Mt @ 1.18g/t ( 0.4 & 0.5g/t cut-offs for oxide & fresh) Maiden Ore Reserve can support +10 year mine life, averaging 150,000oz gold pa. Bankable Feasibility Study for 4Mtpa plant nearing completion. 87% of Measured and Indicated Resources converted into Proven and Probable Reserves.
rough valuation if they achieve production at projected costs (added some buffer in the cost per ounce and shares on issue) $1.00 (this project only) DYODD!
It is just my opinion and of course it can go down further but CAS is at a reasonable buy in price (around 35c) I have an order in at 25c and 20c just in case of a spike down. Just for full disclosure.
Bought some more @ 31c This company (all things going as planned) will be semi self funding through producing high grade/low cost iron ore. Their real asset is their gold deposit, and the upside exploration potential. Anything under 35c is a very decent buy in price for this spec growth story.
Cant remember where I mentioned it - but if Posse Iron project starts making the projected profits and this company goes 'CashFlow Possitive' - which is likely - I expect the re-rating will make anyone who bought under 35c a happy camper. This is not advice - I read through this thread and it does seem I am putting undue pressure implying buying this stock is a must-do. I want everyone to know - these are just my opinions and anyone investigating this company should do their own research and crunch their own number because they are responsible for their own money. Just needed to make that last bit clear as crystal.
$20m in debt funding paid in two tranches..... no dilution to shareholders in the short term - love this managment team I recently picked up more at 28c
Really wanting to buy some CAS. Was reading the past announcements the other day and it really doesn't look like much could go wrong with actually getting the posse iron ore project into production. If iron ore prices stay where they are and gold doesn't go down too much we could easily see CAS at 80c?
Got my first lot of 2500 this morning at .32 wish i could have bought more but unfortunately a few months back i decided to go balls deep in cobar shares (still confident cobar will go back up) loving crusader though. nice to have a green number in my portfolio again
