There is every chance for both the owl and the hedgehog to win the COTY. I believe that there is a 2 years lag... Wolverine was released in 2007 and won the COTY 2009 Award, Jonah in whale released in 2010 and won the 2012 award... I suppose owl released in 2011 will go for nomination for 2013 award, and hedgehog released this year will go for the 2014 award. I will be over the moon if all the 3 series win the COTY!
I can only begin to imagine, what if and when the Ural Owl wins the 2013 COTY Award... That would push the price up the roof... Just like how it's impossible to get the wolverine below usd2000 now!
Don't know if this is legit, but here's an Owl with @45minutes to go. $800 US or Best offer. ...I kinda wish I had some more money. : ) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wildlife-Pr...ultDomain_0&hash=item35b9d3d025#ht_802wt_1396
Definitely legit seller... 100% reliable and trustworthy... Have dealt with him before. But one can get the owl cheaper elsewhere for now... Even bidding prices close around usd 500-600...
This is correct. I bought my owls anticipating the future win and was shocked when it wasn't even mentioned this year. Then after doing some searching, I read where there is a two year lag as stated above. Hedgehog won't be eligible until 2014. This is the time to stock up!
I was under the impression the Brown bear Pyrenees is COTY Coin Of The Year 2012 ??? :/ http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BROWN-BE...941?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5642f90eb5 sorry, best crown !!!!
And I have a beautiful owl up on ebay... bid so far only $310... this one shipping to Canada as well.
I notice the numbers of Ural Owl on offer in eBay are dwindling. I suppose even in the secondary market, these owls have finally settled in the hands of collectors. All are eagerly anticipating COTY Award 2013.
Guys, a little heads up... Go for it! http://www.ebay.ca/itm/120893699606?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
FINALLY, my first five baby hedgehogs arrived all the way from Italy... What a long, long wait. But it's worth the wait.
COIN OF LATVIA (20 lati, gold coin) - Coin won the World 2009 Annual COTY Award I bought this nice little coin and never heard a lot of talk about it. Source: http://www.coinnews.net/2010/01/16/...-the-year-award-hungary-takes-peoples-choice/
That's the same seller who offered a Wolverine for $1800 a few weeks ago. That one didn't sell because the description said there were "very small surface chips on outer edge, very small line on back" It might be the same coin. Here's the old link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc Be sure to ask questions first.
Glad he/she put it back in the capsule... But, Did he/she use cotton gloves to do it ??????... It looks a heck of a lot better now then on that pos laminated wood with the dent....
