I'm looking for a Silver eagle of 2001 i think with the emblem of Enron on it for quite a while now but they seems that they're not put on the market anymore , want to have an specimen for my collection, who has one and want to sell it to me for a reasonable price,please?? :cool: Contact me please..

This is an extremely rare silver eagle. The story behind it reads like this; A number of these were designed to be given to the executives of Enron for Christmas 2001. But before that occurred, the Enron scandal broke out and they were never delivered. Who knows how many are made, i heard 6 to 8 coins is this correct?
 
Great news, i have bought a Enron silver Eagle last week, thanks to mr Sharpe from the USA. I'm very very happy after three years searching.. see picture below, coin is not cleaned yet but already very nice.. will have much more spare time now, one coin to sign of my bucketlist..

Probably very easy to fake these. looks like just a printed on enron symbol. I would stay away from them unless I was 100% certain it was not faked.
 
I'm pretty sure that this is a genuine one; not that crap colored coins from eastern europe; the seller is form the US and didn't know that good that this is a special silver eagle; the coin was not new looked old , after cleaning much better
 
I am curious as what you have paid for this coin? I bought one in 2001 exactly the same in a black felt box. Coin is exactly the one shown in picture. I see the same one on ebay for 4k. Do you know the value? I have held on to it all these years and haven't paid it much mind till recently. Obviously I am aware that ebay prices are inflated. Thanks
