I suspect there may be more errors than officially acknowledged that have slipped thru to dealers who may also not be as thorough in testing as Chards. Credit to them for their due diligence, most dealers would assume everything is 100%.

Imagine buying monster boxes of Britannias or a large number of unopened tubes from a trusted dealer and never having them opened or tested since you trust the dealer you do business with.

Will people bother opening their stacks or will they just sell them as received them from the dealer, interesting to see how this all pans out.

Also coins with identical designs but different metals, what are the odds a silver or platinum blank gets stamped incorrectly?

Difficult to mix up gold with silver or platinum, easy to mix up silver with platinum. Some stackers like to hide their platinum in their silver.

Stackers that have some sort of testing equipment have them for a reason. Every piece received whether via post or over the counter is tested regardless of who the seller is.
