For those worried about the Gold (and silver) price drops!

That would be a massive price impacting event. Demand from PV is a leading and growing use case, and a full replacement for silver in that area based on a new technology would permit advancements into cheaper solar evergy. Hopefully, overall that saves us on solar electricity costs for decades to come.

But...
Silver has dropped in classic overshoot style aligned with gold.
So im not sure its that news leading the current market movements, but something to keep an eye on.

The war in the Middle East hasn’t stopped with reports incoming that the US is now putting troops and tanks on the ground.
Again, no coverage by MSM
 
My mom told me that a church down the block from her is doing food drives once a week and the line goes all the way down her street.
She couldnt believe how many cars were in that line.
Yeah everything might go down some and some might drop alot but nothing has changed.

I remember over 10 years ago people saying if gold went over $6000 (4x the current price back then) the world will be in chaos. Well $6k came and nothing (life shattering) happened...

Maybe if it went to $20k... next month? :eek:

Ummm, the world is in chaos, ever since Covid and especially in the west.
There are many divisions across the board, people are easily offended over nothing…….
New legislations being passed almost every day constricting, what you can say, do and soon what you can think and this is just one aspect.
If this doesn’t give you a clue……

I would say in the last 10 years, Covid, the Russian and Iran wars progressions. AI disruptions on the back of slower but still advancing quantum advancements, Crypto Boom and Bust cycling, climate change and cost of living general impacts, electric cars, space tech advancements.

Actually quite a lot of chaos in the last 10 years...
 
Well then we have different interpretation of the word "chaos" or what "won’t be a very pleasant time to be alive" means.

I agree Leo, its all BS same chaos as always, nothing has changed.

In this country you don't need to work - its all provided for us.

People just want/need to complain and blame the government and how things are expensive and its really tough....

However they can still afford holidays several times a year (and as many tattoos as they want) - more people holidaying now than ever before.

Just go to any Shopping Centre (here in the West) they are packed any time of the day.
