You verified via wand or straight on the sigma?
Repeat test at least 3 x turning sigma off and on before each test.
Did you try both sides of coin?
Calibration reset?
Surface clean on sigma and coin, no oil from fingers?
Do you have a different 22ct coin to test?
Is the sigma stored in a cool, dry environment?

Thank you BITS, but the coins are in exceptional clean (unc) condition. One in capsule and the other still sealed in original packaging.
Used all wands and lnvestor onboard sensor and all variations of 22k (Au+Ag and Au+Cu).
Tested Full Sovereigns without issues.
Will try the on/off suggestions.

I’ve had 2 negative results on 1/10’s in capsules. Took them out to test and results were positive
Sorry for not responding to PM sooner, haven’t been on in a while. In my experience removing from capsule might resolve the issue. Have you attempted to remove 1 half of capsule and use the finer tip wand?
No idea. I have only ever used them on bullion tbh but I have been told sometimes capsules have thrown readings.
It has been my experience, when I tested Chinese coins with a "Sigma" tester I ran into similar problems. There was nothing I was doing wrong. Sigma is not able to test certain coins due to the manufacturing process of the coin. As you found out, you need an XRF. I got rid of any coin or bar that would not test with a Sigma.
