FED Starting QE in December?

I think it already technically started with the past rate cut and the one probably coming in December hasnt it?

I took it that we were already in QE with the dovish moves.

QT/QE refer to the amount of assets that The Fed are either reducing or accumulating rather than interest rate policy. At the moment The Fed is still winding down (tightening) the assets it holds on the balance sheet by not re-purchasing government securities when they mature.

Yeah it all goes together. Its probably a good leading indicator which way they are heading.
