Hi all, what a start to the quarter. So much to get through but let's begin with this month's deals:

Yes the premium is high even with the discount, but this was the first year of the updated reverse design. Potential upside in collectable value is there.

Are u a Gov Dept ? Surveillance/Tracking/Data Gather's are everywhere now :eek:
 
Being flamed by you will eventually become a badge of honor - but on this occasion it's not warranted. ID is only needed if your transacting with us for $5,000 or more (same for all bullion dealers in Aus). Here's info on our KYC.

No, I appreciate the skepticism though - its inherent in most us for good reason. Feel free to ask any questions.
 
Here's the relevant section not that I agree with taking ID for purchase over $5000 but as a bullion dealer I guess your kinda locked into it.

The peer to peer section however is interesting.....you could make an argument both ways on that one I think.

What I hate is that it is 10k for banks so why has bullion been singled out for a lesser amount? Also I note a loop hole around collectibles but I guess if your basis for pricing is "spot" you can't use the loop hole. Maybe there is a different way of pricing to get around it? Probably not viable.

Anyway noobie here with some random thoughts.

I think the request your referring to is to set up your profile, which requires you to upload an avatar and populate the dropdown fields with info on how you transact with people peer to peer (which you can fudge if you like ) I promise you no ID is required and never will be.

I found that as well that I can't comment, start thread, vote in poll or like without being a Pro member hence can't complete the list of 4 to get the free 6 months. Is that supposed to be the case MyBullion?

Argh yep I got yah. Here's the process:

1. Create an account - you've already done that.
2. Sign up for PRO (it's free to join - no payment details required)
3. Complete your profile.
4. Free lifetime access to the forum will be added to your account as a Silver Stacker member.
5. Complete the list of 4 tasks by end of Sep, and an additional 6 months PRO will be added to your account (so 1 year total)

Hope that makes sense, but please PM me if you run into any roadblocks.
