This is worthy of a great discussion

Mmm, not sure on that. His main point was the " Deficit " creates the money & ..........just the Deficit creates the money.

I will watch again. Maybe I missed something !

It's the rectangle thing he talks about in the second vid.

Money growth either comes from increasing private sector debt or it comes from increasing public sector debt.

One sector has to continually increase productivity in order to repay that debt, the other doesn't have to.

It doesnt matter if your on a gold standard or not, gold still backs every currency just like its doing now at $3300.

Its like having the gold standard without admitting it!

Central Banks have been buying over 1,000 tons of Gold for 4 yrs in a row.

Mmm, maybe they know something/what's coming & keeping quiet.

Yeah, Gold just seems to pop when shit goes wrong ;)

Given that Australia has the worlds largest per capita public service sector the country must be printing vast amounts of money to pay them as the public service generates no prosperity whatsoever.

Only reason AUS unemployment is not over 7% + is that since 2022 the Gov ( public service ) has created 80% of all new jobs every month.

Yes, vast amounts of Debt & more Taxes. It's how they run the pumps on this sinking Titanic :(

We could easily lose one tier of govt which would be to the betterment of the majority of people in many ways.

Don't need the FED's. Sate Gov & city councils is enough. ( personally I would go with what a lot of USA states do. Hire a Professional City Manager. He's performance managed. A yearly meeting of any citizens votes to keep or kick the Manager. He hires Dept heads & performance manages them. Councils ! what do hairdressers & kindergarten teachers know about running a city ? )

Relevant state ministers meet to decide national policy, implemented by each state.

Eg, Pensions. State ministers meet & decide Pension amount across the nation. Each state administer Pension Payments to their state citizens.

Not to mention all the formerly productive workers that have been sucked into the NDIS vortex.
Now they get paid a fortune to take someone for a coffee.

The NDIS costs more than Medicare!
