Platinum Scam

Id rather have platinum etfs than a coin that no coin shops want.
You walk in trying to sell platinum and look at their faces haha.
They sit on those coins for way too long and most dont want it because no one wants to buy it.

Actually as a qualified Phrenologist, I can see 3 distinct dimples located near the area of the brain associated with trolling.

Often accompanied by a protusion from the forehead.

@SKULL whilst we always appreciate the enthusiasm that newer members bring to our long running forum, just remember that most of us enjoy dealing with others in a positive manner as opposed to stirring the sit up about people we may have never met.

I'd rather not see any one given cause to ignore another nor to bait another. PM me if you want to have a convo about this.

Just a bit surprised that I'm the only 1 mentioned in ur posting, as I was certainly not the only 1 involved ?

Platinum really does suck unless you need a catalytic converter.
In most cases including that case it can be replaced by other metals.
In some cases it can easily be replaced by titanium or even stainless steel.

The same cannot be said of gold and silver's uses at all.

Ive heard some crazy price predictions for pt but if it goes up too much it will just be kicked to the curb where it belongs and something else will be used.
Then your paying a crazy price for a rare but worthless hunk of metal that no one wants and has never been money and thats been replaced by stainless steel.

Not saying i wouldnt buy etfs to flip but physical, never.
Also not saying it won't 4x or 6x.
Id rather keep collecting nickels and copper cents and when they come looking for the "budget alternative" to pt, ill be sitting on buckets of nickels that have also ridden the wave up but only cost me face value!
The first nickel in 1866 had a melt value of .0034 cents with the same composition as today and nickel and copper are both monetary metals.
