The golden kool aid doesn't get me drunk. I have a high tolerance after all these years hehe.
You should join Brandons cabinet. You can tell him how great everything is because of a theory.
The household saving and spending chart might explain why this is. Some people are oblivious to the predicament facing others and just can't concieve of such a different situation to what they faced.Yeah it's like talking to one of my relatives about money haha. Not a clue!
My mom was telling me how great things are as we drove through the tent cities.
And if your kid wants to be a teacher, support him in his choice. Decent pay, great holidays, good superannuation scheme, job for life. That's advice from someone who regrets pushing his kid into a career he never really wanted to be in. Take it or leave it.![]()

My memory is very hazy however ...

Surprised at the lack of awareness around the economic challenges facing an ever growing group of australians, particularly those under 35.
The soviet level propaganda that the current government is running with that says things are going along nicely is believed by no one I know in my age bracket.

Is this right? 140k? It makes my number of 100k sound incorrect, LoL. But as per articles I have read, it is true that 50% are thinking of leaving. As far as schoolteachers go, I only know ex-ones, and i used Seek for income stats https://www.seek.com.au/career-advice/role/teacher/salaryIt's always been shit pay in the US.
Remuneration is not as serious a problem in my state (but don't ask a teacher), a beginning teacher will start on about $82000/year after 4 years of training. The average classroom teacher with experience after 7-10 years or so will be earning somewhere around $110 000 - $140 000/year, and then there are the Admin jobs such as HODS and Principals that pay much higher.
